Tammy did my nails. Although she did an ok job and seemed nice she had an attitude. I have learned you are your best advocate and I will always ask for what I need and what is best for me. She had my nails sitting in acetone for over 10 mins. I am very cautious of this as the acetone will deteriorate your natural nails. I let mine grow and don't get tips done and have had other nail salons in Victoria let my hands soak in acetone where a HOLE will form in the middle of my nail. Therefore, after 10 mins, I removed my hand from the bowl and told her that I don't soak them too long because they will harm my natural nail. She said yes sone if your nail will come off. What!!! No that shouldnt happen!!! I usually get cotton on top, which, in my opinionis best. She lied and said here in Victoria we don't do cotton on top. I said I've gone to other nail salons in VICTORIA that will do that. 2nd strike, she said my nails are too weak to shape and will do that after dipping. Yet she wanted me to leave my nails in acetone longer. 3rd strike was that she does not use a base powder for dipping. That is key in preventing your NATURAL nails from breaking. I usually get 2 base coats (powder) before dipping. She looked at me like I was crazy asking for that and she said she doesn't do that just the base coat polish. I said ok. She filed my nails and then used the same base coat #2 for my top coat. At this point I just wanted to leave. I should have asked why but was wanting to leave and never go back. Then when checking out I asked if the amount was with the 20% off. She said she didn't charge for nail removal and shape. I get her not charging for shape but you will seeiously charge to remove my previous powder set!? Then after leaving, one of my nails has some white marks that won't come off. When you know better you do better.... and unfortunately, this nail salon isn't it and I will not return.
Requested style: I requested a short stiletto nail shape. Tammy said she would try and did an ok job.

Great place to get your nails done. I have seen multiple ppl to do my nails and they are all amazing. Always less then an hour to get nails done. My daughter and I got a pedicure aswell, very relaxing. Wonderful with kids of any age. Very appreciative of their customers, very friendly. Highly recommend.

Have not had the time to even think about pedicures and have only had 9 or 10 manicures in the last 10 years. Always working! Let me tell you....I LOVE LINA & SAM. They are the best. Can you say..forever customer! I can and I am. They both made me feel so comfortable and took their time with me. Did exactly what I wanted. Thank you both for your commitment to excellence! I'll be back again next month.
