i went back today to return a dress shirt and dress pants that i had purchased 3 days ago and only wore twice. once in the fitting room and once at home only to later find out how uncomfortable my neck was due to how tight the shirt was. i still had all the tags and my receipt but they would not take the return. every other store around regardless of whether the tag is on or off as long as there is a receipt and the purchased item is in good condition (which it is) can be returned. dillards does not allow it and i was not informed of this when i made my purchase or when i called to see if it was a problem over the phone.

I would rate 10 stars if I could! I came in looking for some Gianni Bini platform sandals. As I had tried some on in one of the SA locations but had had a terrible experience. I was helped by Katelynn and she knocked it out of the park! She apologized multiple times for how I was treated at the other location and brought me the size I wasn't permitted to try at the north star mall location. And they fit perfectly! They aren't the exact ones I came in looking for as they dont carry them instore but she did offer to order them for me. I am beyond happy with my new wedding shoes! And I greatly appreciate Katelynn taking care of me!

The Dillard’s Home department is absolutely awful. Twice I have come here to buy wedding gifts and have had to wait over 30 minutes to get my gifts gift wrapped. The most recent time, I left the counter to take my other purchases to my car and returned a minute later to find they had put my wedding gifts to the side and were helping other people. The first person helped involved the Dillard’s employee walking away from the counter. When she returned, she did not acknowledge that I was there standing right next to the counter. She continued to help the second person in line and wrap this person’s purchases while I was standing right there!! Still refused to acknowledge me or finish helping me. As I type this I am still waiting on my gift to be wrapped and have been for 45 minutes and counting. Dillard’s - this is unacceptable and absolutely ridiculous. Train your staff better.

I love the makeup department at Dillard's! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and they're always knowledgeable about the latest products and trends. I've never had a bad experience there.One of the things I love most about the Dillard's makeup department is that they have such a wide selection of products to choose from. Whether you're looking for drugstore brands or high-end luxury brands, they have it all. And, they always have the latest and greatest products in stock.Another thing I love about the Dillard's makeup department is that the staff is always so willing to help me find the right products for my needs. They take the time to get to know my skin type and my makeup goals, and then they recommend products that will work best for me. I've learned so much about makeup from the staff at Dillard's, and I'm so grateful for their help.Here are some specific examples of positive experiences I've had at the Dillard's makeup department:One time, I was looking for a new foundation. I wasn't sure what shade to get, so I asked a makeup artist for help. She took the time to match my foundation to my skin tone perfectly. I've been using that foundation ever since, and I love it!Another time, I was looking for a new eyeshadow palette. I went in Monday to juniors to find some back to school things for my girls and one of the girls working I believe her name was Cat was just on her phone the entire time and was very rude when I asked for help. Very unhelpful and upsetting time especially since I haven’t had this issue in the many times I’ve visited before.
