We have explored a lot of options around the area to get our beef, and Dean & Peeler has won out on all of our business! Jack has always been super helpful, the cuts are well done, and the overall quality of the product is out of this world! Love getting to know this brand!

Very clean show room and interesting variety of cuts even dry aged. They even have sides desserts and extras to get the grill going. However when we arrived and told the sales girl we wanted a pound of the dry aged steak she told us we would have to wait for the person to get there to do it. We thought she meant a coworker that was certified or trained on the cutting machine… nope… she made us wait 45 minutes so she could do a shift change all because she didn’t want to do it. Then the girl finally shows up to do shift change. She suits up to cut the steak (understandable for sanitization reasons) she comes back after 15 minutes with the cut of meat. She comes out doesn’t say anything grabs her phone and her hand was bleeding and goes back in the back where she was cutting the meat. Unfortunately, that was a huge turn off and we left. So much for a great first time experience. You went from a 4 star to a two….

Would be better if y’all still sold venison. Just called up there, because I used to buy ground venison at this location, just to be told they don’t sale it. Not that they were sold out, but that they didn’t even sale it. This is the only place in town I found that sales Venison, so I am deeply disappointed.Update: I was able to locate some venison at the H-E-B Plus. They keep it in the case directly in front of the meat department, where you ask for someone for the fresh meat.

Had a hankerin' for a steak on a Sunday and didn't want to roll the dice at the big supermarkets cuz it's hit or miss, searched the net and found this place open until 4:00PM. Headed over and got there at 3:45PM, found a nice sirloin, counter people were professional. Cost more than average but I expect that as it is better quality beef. Grilled it up and it reminded me of the steaks mom and pop used to grill or broil in the '70s, full of flavor. I only used fresh ground black pepper and Kosher salt, lump coal and pecan. Very tender, no need for steak sauce. I will be back, high quality product. HIGHLY recommend.

We’ve used D&P for years to butcher our steers. This last go around John was unable to commit on pick up times and dates creating a lot of angst in scheduling.
After unpacking the three steers we had butchered, we realized we were not sent home with all the meat. Liver, tongue in cheek meat was missing from the steers despite us requesting it in our order.
When I spoke with D&P I was told “the cuts were not available.” Unless three headless steers were dropped off I’m not sure where the meat went. Sara stated she’d call me with an update and I never heard back.
I’ve emailed John twice now to locate the missing meat. Still no response.

My 1st visit here today. Everything was so organized and easy to navigate through all the options. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that didn't seem to mind in any way to explain and answer any questions. Locally sourced and processed beef. Looking forward to trying their dry aged products.

I recently went in to check out the quality and prices of their product. I'm so glad I went. Their customer service was top tier. They showed me what they had available for the party I was prepping, told me how they prepare their product and even held my order for pickup the next day. The beef patties I got were loved by everyone at the party and I will definitely return for my next grocery trip.
