We have two dogs, one with Cushings and the other with Epilepsy. Dr. Bing and his staff are great at what they do, and take great care of our dogs. Competitive pricing and full range of services offered. Highly recommend them.

Went to this clinic for about a year, always saw a female tech, my dog got sick and we ended up seeing Dr Bing, worse experience ever, he had blood work done over 700.00, then 400 in meditation for kidney failure and then told me if my dog wasnt better in 3 days i should put her to sleep, took my dog to another vet and took the labs from dr bing with me my dog didnt have kidney failure she was in heart failure and had cancer will never return to this vet

Dr Bing is a great man and a great veterinarian with the calmest disposition of a Saint. My hunting terrier had a broken leg and he put her in a splint for $125 whereas the emergency clinic in Denison would've charged $800 the night before. Been a customer ever since

Took my dog for examination and she did not want to go in the front door,I'm guessing she knows it's the vet,and it smells badTook the dog ,10-15 minutes to get her in and I waited and waited and I told her we were here first before this man that just walked in.Told the other lady that her co worker was rude and now they stopped answering my phone. For 2 weeks they won't pick up and today used my friends phone they picked up...called them with my number....they won't pick up.... Go to cold springs they always pick-up and treat you nice. ... Funny thing is my wife witnessed them not picking up my phone calls....Time to grow up..Goes and shows you you how employees can ruin a business.

Would not recommend!!! Took my dog thier a year ago because of a spot that popped up they told me it wasn't an issue and he would be fine, fast forward to this past February and it's now grown into a tumor that they cant work on. That lead to him getting cancer and sadly I had to say good bye to my best friend last week as heart breaking as that is it didn't stop there they messed up on his crematation order and I got my boy back in a card bourd tube not the box like I asked ? I feel let down once again and this by far has been the worse vet experience. The only thing I recommend is shutting the place down!!!!

Thank you so much Van Alstyne veterinary clinic! Our sweet cat Kevin was able to be seen right away (during the holidays and never having been to this vet before) as he was exhibiting life threatening symptoms. Come to find out our cat had ingested a small foreign object and we were able to get a referral from them to an emergency hospital. Our cat is now home and doing well post surgery all thanks to this clinic! And a big thank you to Dr. Gorski, bless you!!

I really wanted to continue to like this Veterinary Clinic, but I cannot anymore. This review is lengthy, but here's why....We've been noticing a declining standard of care and time spent with us and our animals when coming in for appointments. They recently began to refuse to allow outside vendors like 1-800 pet meds from filling prescriptions because they said they did not have time. Ok. Whatever. Also, recently they started charging a fee to use credit cards. I find this completely ridiculous. You are a business and this is a cost of doing business, not something you pass along to your customers. However, the rather large, heavy straw that broke the camel's back was when I brought my Labrador in recently. He had been running a fever, coughing, lethargic, not eating or drinking, just not himself. He's an older dog (but normally healthy), so I made an appointment for the next day after I noticed his symptoms. The morning I brought him in, he was doing slightly better. Dr. Bing saw him. He listened to his breathing, took his temp and pressed on his belly. That's it. He said he thought he probably just had allergies or a virus, it was getting better, he should be fine. He said he did not want to run any tests, or give any meds. Ok. Whole exam took about 2 minutes. So, I left after paying 70 bucks. (saved 3 bucks by not using a credit card) Score! (sarc). My dog got a little better, but definitely not 100 percent. 5 days later, symptoms return. I make an appointment for the next day at the vet. That night, HE DIED. Now, was this inevitable regardless of whatever care he might have received? Possibly. However, the lack of time spent and basically getting brushed off, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Dr. Bing is older. No issue with that, but he does not seem to display the level of caring and interaction with you and your pets that he used to. Just seems to be "phoning it in" these days. Combine that with the others issues mentioned in this review, plus my dog recently dying, and I'm done. It's not like they are cheaper than other places either. Costs are just as high as other clinics in larger cities, with less care, time and convenience. Sorry to say all of this because I really did like this Vet Clinic in the past. Save your time, money and go somewhere else for your pets care and well being.

Took our show bull calf here for a nose ring to be placed. This is a broke and quiet show animal and they were very rough with multiple people twisting his tail so hard my daughter thought it was broken.Once in the hydraulic squeeze chute, which they had too tight, it took them several minutes to install the ring, and when the bull was led out of the chute, he was stumbling and weak in the hind end. He fell loading into the trailer. We took him instantly to another vet about 10 minutes away and had him examined. The second vet said that yes he is now weak in the hind end and his back legs are crossing when he walks, and his back is now raised from damage. This perfectly square made bull who was correct in his leg structure is no longer standing square in his hind legs, his back is no longer level, and he will now have Dex for 5 days and a chiropractor to see if we can get him back to normal.I’ve tried calling the vet clinic 3 times with info after the second vet looked at our bull and no one answers the phone. They were very rough with our quiet and show broke animal. I’m so disappointed.

Called 4 times over the course of a few hours before someone picked up the other end. Once she answered I asked the woman on the other end if there was any chance they had an opening for my dog this week. (I scheduled appointment at another vet already, but I was just seeing if there was any chance Bing could squeeze my dog in earlier)I told the woman on the phone that my dog was having stomach issues and she asked how long the symptoms had been present. I told her it had been about four days and she said: “why did you wait so long?” I attempted to explain to her that I was just checking for an opening (the other appointment for my dog was scheduled days ago) but she was extremely dismissive. I could not say an entire sentence without her talking over me and clearly rushing me off of the phone. It felt like my 45 second conversation with her was a HUGE inconvenience in her work day.Bing was recommended by a friend and I’m sure he’s a great vet, but the front phone/scheduling assistance was terrible.

Took my 3 month old Maltese puppy to get her shots, the vet was very rough with my puppy. When we left the clinic my puppy was in so much pain she couldn’t even walk from having her 12 week old shots. I would never bring my dog to a place like that again, not to mention how out of date and nasty the clinic was. We are not from this area so had to pick a vet. So my 12 week old pup is now on pain meds from getting her 12 week shots!!
