Liquor Stores
“This was such a cute barn full of every beverage you could possibly want. You drive through and tell her what you want. Friendly. Good selection. Half of the barn is alcoholic. The other is not, so it's great for families. The snacks are also great too. If you're passing through on a road trip, don't go to a convenience store- just stop here.”
“Can't complain about these guys - service is good, the selection is excellent and the prices are fair. Swing by for a bottle, just don't buy your mixers here, they are about 200% more than you would pay at a grocery store. They have a great selection of European beers - not chilled but if you like European beers then you know that is a good thing!”
“The entrance should be through the east end and not from the street. Too many cars stopped in the middle of street to turn in. Major hazard ready for an accident and or lawsuit. Great service & business. Think about it.”
“One of the coolest old school liquor stores around. This place used to actually sell liquor and guns. Obviously it doesn't anymore but that shows you how long it's been in business. The people are super friendly. If you live in or are passing through Uvalde, stop in and say hi. Grab a bottle of Horse Soldier Bourbon while you're there too :)”
“I drove in from San Antonio to Uvalde to do my monthly Mom visit, and do my monthly WB stop there as well, and I met who I thought was a new employee but it turns out he is also from SA. Anthony was just arranging items on the shelf when I got there and he immediately attended me, by the way the store looks great, nice and clean. I found out from conversation with him what location he normally works at so I will now be popping into his store. Great service and very knowledgeable, I thought I knew bourbon.
