Thief's. This is whats going to happen. Your going to take your care their for a 19.95 transmission fluid change. Their going to call you and tell you their something shiny in your transmission pan and it needs to be checked asap. Theres a $485 charge to pull your transmission that goes to the cost of your repair. If you tell them not to check it they will tell you "We hav to put the same transmission oil in it that we took out." Which contains other peoples dirty oil transmission which will do damage to your vehicle. They will tell you that they rebuilt your transmission but they will simply take it part and change minor items and put tit back together. Your transmission WILL FAIL AGAIN before the warranty is up. DON'T COME HERE. These guys will leave you high and dry. They do shotty work. Go to a reputable transmission company, this one sucks. READ the BBB complaints this A+ doesn't mean anything. Picture of the fake veteran is the one who will steal your money, with these horrible business practices.

I've posted this same review on Yelp, so most of this is a copy/paste. I hardly ever review places unless I have an absolutely terrible experience, or an absolutely terrific one. Having a few plumbing issues fixed by SA Specialties was a great experience and I'm happy to have found a go-to plumbing service.Called them a couple days before I wanted work done, woman on the phone was very courteous and clear with pricing, scheduling, etc.I wanted the washing machine drain cleared and the cold water faucet to the washing machine replaced in the utility room. She quoted me a price over the phone and I was told technicians would arrive somewhere between 11-3.Eddie and Tony arrived a few minutes before 11, fixed the issue promptly and gave me some advice on washing machine hook ups. They were both very professional, fast and while there was some confusion over the price at first, Eddie called the dispatcher and she verified the quote that was given to me. He honored that price and I didn't pay a penny more.I used to use the plumbing services of J.L. Hearn, who was purchased by SA Specialties. Jerry Hearn serviced our office for a few years and we came to trust him and his workers. I was skeptical that the same solid service would transfer after SA Specialties bought Mr. Hearn out. I'm glad to see that it did.

They do great work. SA specialties have replaced my hot water heater, reset a toilet and have installed a ro system.

I took my vehicle here to get my transmission fluid changed - I called 4/5 other places and I was quoted anywhere from $120-260. I found the most reasonable price BY FAR here so I was stoked. Not only were they very friendly and helpful, they got me in right away for an appointment with only about a day notice. When I picked up my car they gave me advice on some issues I was having without trying to sell me anything extra or recommend costly services I didn't need (which happens everywhere I take my car.) So I was very thankful to have people who genuinely wanted to help me rather than just make money off me. I will recommend them to everyone, they did fantastic work!

I took my 2004 f-150 in and had the transmission rebuilt in mid march 2017. the problem was that the transmission with shifting hard from first to second gear and from second to first gear (it is an automatic). Well..................5 month latter it is back in for the transmission to be rebuilt again and, it has the same symptoms. It has been a week now and I still can not get a firm answer as to when it will be finished. I had no problem paying for a rental car while it was in there the first time, but I do have a problem with paying for the rental car the second time. Especially when I do not know long it is going to take. The rental car is costing $200.00 per week. The warranty paperwork does state that they are not responsible for towing or rental cars for warranty work. I think If I had known about that up front, I would have shopped around. Right now I am thinking, if it is not ready for pick up before the weekend. I will just have it towed to another shop and just pay for it to be rebuilt again.

The transmission in my 06 Honda Odyssey was slipping a little so I took it to A Plus based on Google reviews. Jaime was the service advisor that was assigned. At first glance I was told it was the axle seals and it would be a quick fix. Well the new seals kept leaking so Jamie recommended we tear it down and see what's causing them to pop out. He told me it would be $379 to do so and it would be an inexpensive bearing. After disassembling the transmission it had a lot more issues than expected and I was told it would be $3,500 to repair! I told them that was way out of my budget for this thing and to just slap the transmission back in as I would rather sell than pay that. They put the transmission back in and it wouldn't even go in gear. Only then was I told that yeah sometimes this happens. If I would have been informed that this may occur I would have just kept the barley slipping transmission than to have a nonworking van. Jaime completely understood where I was coming from and invested 3 weeks calling all his connections to get me a used transmission in my budget. He pulled through and got me a solid deal for a used transmission with warranty. It was a wait, but they will work with your budget as much as possible.

Unfortunately, I have to report that I have had trouble getting them to honor their commitment to quality service after delivering the vehicle. One of their technicians made a mistake in how they disassembled/reassembled the vehicle, resulting in a minor error that they could not correct. I do not fault them for the mistake; nobody's perfect. And at the time they committed to making it right, including paying for the repair. (They even intimated to me that it would come out of the technician's check, which didn't set well with me, but I can't tell them how to treat their employees.) But since they weren't able to resolve it themselves, I had to take my vehicle to someone else, and pay them for their time. Now, all this time later, we are getting the "Oh, I'm new...that wasn't me that did/said that...uhh, we don't have the copy of the invoice you gave us, so could you fax that to us one more time..." runaround. I give them three stars at this point to indicate that they are acting pretty much stereotypically, and that's a shame. If they are going to act the same as their competition, perhaps I should give the competition a chance next time.

I took my Ford F250 to this shop for an estimate. They told me it would be approximately $2000 to rebuild it and that I'd need to sign stating I would pay the $400 tear down fee no matter what the outcome. I signed, they tore down my transmission, then said "oops this was a different tranny than we thought so now it will be $4300." At that time I asked since it was THEIR mistake if they'd waive at least part of the tear down fee and they would not. I will pay more to someone else rather than take something back to them.

Matt and the crew at this location are top notch. They fixed up my 2003 Jeep in two days and for a reasonable price. Thanks for the great work and customer service. A+

Avoid this place! Had them rebuild the transmission. Had problems with it just over a year later. They said they would honor the warranty then stated the part having the problem was not covered . When we brought in the paperwork and proved it they still refused. We decided to give them Another chance and had them work on our transmission again. Two weeks later the power steering blew while on the freeway. We took it to another shop in Schertz and they informed us whoever worked on the transmission rebuilt it Wrong and had the power steering line put back on wrong and caused the tube to Chafe severing it. When we told a plus about it they denied it. Later on we got a call from the other autoshop informing us that someone was in their shops from a plus asking for the cut power steering tube. We went back and forth with them via the better business bureau which it was just denial after denial from them.
