FRAUD !! FRAUD !! Do not come here if you have an HMO plan such as Guardian. Pat Booker Dental Care will lie and give you a dentist that is out of network and not tell you and force you to pay for services that are not covered by your insurance. You can tell because the insurance statement will say "Out of Network" as it did with me. I'm currently filing a complaint against them via my insurance carrier. As they told me, I'm not the first to file fraud against Pat Booker Dental Care. Pat Booker also randomly changes appointments around all the time and has terrible support. After I called them to cancel my upcoming visit and tell them about the fraud they are committing, they had the gall to offer me orthodontic services. Read the room, Pat! I'm never setting foot in this office again.

Service from Dr. Garza was excellent. Pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of the waiting area, bathroom and procedure room. Wasn't like this ever before. Let Dr. Garza know about it. Will give y'all one more chance to rectify.

The staff is always so polite, so professional and so pleasant to be serviced by. I also genuinely appreciate the proximity of the clinic to a main road and to where I live.

This is the most disorganized and unprofessional dental office. I have been trying to get in contact with them concerning a bill (which was not mine) for over 5 months. I had been going to this office for 10+ years prior to changing dentist due to their lack of organization. I have not been in over 5 years but they still send me a bill. They do not return calls. I was finally able to get ahold of someone and was put on hold for almost an hour "while they look into it". I do not recommend wasting your time on this office. They said they will correct THEIR error----we'll see.

I recommend this dental office. Things haven’t been the same since the pandemic. They closed for a while. I returned because I value that their focus is your oral health, not about unnecessary dental work just to make money. There are a lot offices that take advantage of their patients, I could go on and on about that but this is about Pat Booker Dental Clinic.
The front desk staff was friendly, but a little unorganized. After the pandemic I had three different hygienist and several appointments canceled due to scheduling issues.
Karen, my most recent hygienist was very thorough, best cleaning in years.
The dentist, Dr Jesus Garza is a delight. He listened attentively to my concerns and answered all my questions.

SEE MY LATEST UPDATE FOR 10-10-2024. THINGS HAVE CHANGED AND NOT FOR THE BEST!!
It’s a year later, and I am happy to report that Mario is still the best dental hygienist EVER! He’s efficient, gentle and excellent at his job. I drive 35 miles one-way just to see him, and I will continue to use Pat Booker Dental for all my tooth-y needs!
Mario is the best dental hygienist EVER! I have been going to Pat Booker Dental for years and have seen the dentists come and go. But as long as I have been able to have Mario perform preventative hygiene care for my teeth, I have been five-star satisfied. He is a gentle jewel with those dental instruments!
10-10-2024: I have been going to Pat Booker Dental for over 30 years, and I travel many miles to get there. When I arrived there some months ago for a cleaning appointment, there was no Mario. He left suddenly, and no one would tell me where he now worked.. In subsequent visits, I had several different hygienists. Yesterday, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told that the only dentist would be doing the cleaning. There appeared to be only one hygienist, and she was with another patient. To put it mildly, my cleaning was horrible. The dentist-hygienist struck my soft palette 3 times with his probe, and it felt like he was doing only a cursory cleaning. Since this practice was bought by Britdent, there has been a constant turnover of personnel. There is a desolate atmosphere in the office and exam rooms, and the rooms and restroom are dirty and neglected . Sadly to report, I am ending my longstanding relationship with this business. There is inconsistent treatment and no continuity with the medical professionals. Bye-bye, Pat Booker. It’s sad, but I won’t be back. I won’t be traveling all those miles to have such a horrible experience.

I paid to have my teeth removed and implants put in and dentures to fit those implants. I paid everything in full Over a year ago. Upon my last visit a few months ago, I was told that they don’t work on dentures anymore that they didn’t have the equipment, the personnel nor the tools to complete the Work they promised me. it has been over a year and I have a mouthful of implants that don’t fit my dentures. The dentures they gave me have never fit, and in a nutshell, they abandoned me They took my money and never finished the job

Had a great experience. Michelle, front desk was incredible as were the hygienist and doctor. I was very glad to get the Dr who works there on Saturdays. Extremely knowledgeable and best oral exam I’ve ever had!

In my last review, I had mentioned that Pat Booker Dental had joined a dental group and that it was way less warm and homey than before. I've just been again yesterday. I am sad to say that things at PBD are even worse. Gone are the big pictures of people smiling from the walls, heck, the walls are almost barren. The place is devoid of any warm, welcoming décor. Gone are the nice group of admin ladies who made you feel welcomed when you entered and helped to soften the blow when they handed you your bill! In their place were two women who all but ignored me. As for the care, it is adequate. Every time I visit there is a new dentist who sees me whereas before I was able to get to know the dentist who was caring for my teeth. Yesterday was no exception, I met a new dentist who examined me by banging his tiny mirror into every tooth in my mouth and asking me three times if there was anything bothering me about my teeth. Remarkably, on this visit, I had the same hygienist that I had on the last visit. She was nice. The exam rooms have also been stripped of any warmth. There is nothing on the walls except for certifications and diplomas whereas before there were pictures of family of those who worked in the rooms. Overall, PBD has become unwelcoming. Thank you Brident for making a visit to the dentist way more cold and uncomfortable.

I was a patient here from 2017-mid 2023. It was great, especially when Dr Calderon was around, until they started messing up my appointment times. One time, I took time off work for an afternoon appointment (I had an email from them and a text reminding me of the appointment times) and they were like, oh we don’t have you scheduled, sorry. Even though I showed them the email and text saying that my appointment was that date and that time. That was a disaster. They made it up to me by offering me some free stuff to remove my Google review that I had left them back then, which I accepted thinking it was just a one time issue. Then in November 2023 they moved my appointment without my consent! That’s when I finally decided to see another dentist which was the best decision ever.

If I was able to leave them negative stars I would.
They tried to bill me and my insurance for things I've never had done. They are so unorganized it's ridiculous. My whole family went there for years. The place went down hill when they switched to Brident Dental & Orthodontics .

It is not the same office it was a year ago. I do not like the answering service I would rather talk to the office directly. I do not like to give out information over the phone. The Dental care is very good and all my fears were alleviated.
