So I’ve been to the store before a few times this night I went in to get something to drink and grabbed one of the little beef jerky at the counter and all of a sudden he proceeded to ask me for my id mind u I didn’t have an alcohol beverage I asked for what? He goes on to say for the beef jerky I said huh ? Are u serious like is this a joke then he ask how old am I I say 20 he says yes u need your id I said since we do y’all start taking id for beef jerky he couldn’t even give me a valid reason but that he was told to start doing it recently really rubbed me the wrong way I didn’t get any of my stuff and left that’s ridiculous I’ve gotten beef jerky through out my whole life and never once gotten that I need my id
