We were in town looking for some good quality meat for a cookout, found this spot and it did not disappoint. It’s a little on the expensive side but quality definitely matched up.

I’m astounded by the high level of customer service here. I’m usually treated very badly at other places because of the way I look. I guess it’s because I’m overweight and look disheveled.These people treated me and my family like we mattered and they were so accommodating. We will enjoy all the meat we have purchased from here! Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Wow! I have never experienced this level of customer service before. I have heard about this place for years and decided to give it a try after my local butcher closed down. I was immediately greeted at the door with a handshake by Tom who gave me a brief history of the business, their offerings and the quality of meat they provide. After exchanging pleasantries and going over the selection, I was shown a sample tray of the different meats they offer. I made my selection and it was promptly cut and packaged right there. The meat was delicious and is hands down better taste and quality than any of the local grocery chains. Upon departure, Tom walked me out the door and I left with a handshake. I wish more businesses provided this level of customer service. I have found my new beef dealer. They have fish, pork and lamb as well. Thanks Tom.

I’m from Boston and I love the townhome country feel. Service with a smile. This is my third visit, and I intend on coming back many more times. When you go in, ask for the friendly staff by name: Alibra, Cole, and Tom. Try their Boars Head Deli and new bbq sauce — it’s to die for!

The Morriss family opened the Country Meat Market around the time I was born in 1954. We were blown away the second we walked in the door. It was if time stood still and I was 5 years old again going to the meat market with my sweet Mama picking our fresh farm raised meat to cook for dinner. Steve Morriss, the owner, put on his apron and personally hand cut and wrapped our ribeye steaks, ground steak, and pork chops. The meat is all fresh, never frozen and cut to order. Who does that these days??? The customer service was so warm and inviting. They make you feel like you are an old friend. Everything we tried was beyond exceptional. We are going to serve the bacon wrapped filets for our Super Bowl party this year and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. This place is a hidden treasure and we can't wait to experience taking a trip back in time to our childhood and bringing home fresh meat that has no preservatives or hormones to feed our family. No more grocery store meat for me....ever! Thank you Country Meat Marke! We will see you again soon!

Wow. Great meat with awesome service. The people were accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. They obviously enjoyed their work - and gladly took special cutting requests. We did a taste test when we got home - loved it!We look forward to our next visit - an hour for us but well worth it.

This place will blow you away with the customer service and respect that they have for people. I have never experienced customer like this in a very very long time ..I could probably write a 3 page eassy on my experience here but I don't have that much time. From the time we pulled up in the parking lot until the time we left the parking lot it was nothing but service and respect. So, the meat here is top notch I must say. When they bring it out you can immediately tell that it is for sure quality. My husband had been looking for a butcher shop for a while now and he hit jackpot when we found this place. They really do treat you like family. Also they do sampling while you are waiting for your meat to be boxed because it is fresh. If you have not tried this place please please stop by you will not go back to your local grocery store to buy any meat.

I have been buying meat from The Country Meat Market for several years now, and I can honestly say that it's the best place in Tyler to shop. It might seem like they are more expensive, but when you factor in the quality of their meats, the selection, and the friendly and fast service, they can't be beaten! Always friendly and always helpful. And the chopped brisket sandwich with the brisket queso is awesome!

WOW. I can’t even begin to adequately describe how amazing my experience here was. This is far beyond a 5 star business. I’m not sure I’ve EVER had an experience to even rival that of shopping here! There’s so few places you can walk into (especially for the first time) and feel like you’re walking into a family members home. Just on customer service alone I will be a forever customer, but the product far surpassed what I had anticipated. It was a win all the way around. If you’re reading this and debating whether or not you want to give this business a try this is your answer! YES! Thank you to everyone at The Country Meat Market it doesn’t go unnoticed!

Customer service was impeccable!! We were immediately greeted and tended to. We even experienced a presentation of some of their products and free samples were offered. I have never had fun going to a meat market until today. We will most definitely be repeat customers!!!

I highly recommend making a trip here. The pricing is reasonable, and everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I loved the customer service. This was our first visit but they were already treating us like family. We will be returning!
