βI had to come up here a couple of weeks ago and get a new debit card because there was fraud alert on mine. I worked with Stephanie Rose! She had mentioned during our visit about the credit card with Kelly Community. So thatβs why I visited today. She got me all set up. She has been an awesome help and definitely will be returning to her for any of my future needs, and will actually be back in a couple of weeks to get my son set up with his own debit card! Sheβs great!β

βI have been with Telco for years and years I don't have a lot of money but let me tell you these lady's in Tyler, Broadway are the best they treat me like I have millions I wanted to bring them all home and cook them some eggs bacon hashbrowns gravey and home made biscuits. And I wouldn't do that for just anybody but my girls at Telco are wonderful I am 71 years young and I can cook them biscuits and I would for them and men that works there can come to he was sweet I would never bank anywhere else. βWe had a wonderful experience working with Heritage Bank on our land loan. Everyone was professional and proactive to make sure things went smoothly. We really appreciated the transparency as they explained details not just at time of signing but in advance as well. We especially credit Cord Stover (Lufkin) as he kept us updated on a daily basis. He took the time to answer all of our questions, whenever they came up. He always responded or let us know when he would get back with us and he followed through! Such service is so rare these days, and we really appreciate it. He was professional and friendly. It also struck us how much initiative he took every step of the way. And on top of the wonderful service, they offered excellent shareholder return, and the best rate and options. You really won't find anyone better to work with than the Heritage Land Bank in Lufkin/Palestine.β

βWithout any confusion, MJ Reynolds, Assistant Branch Manager at Southside Bank, 3828 Troup Hwy, Tyler, walked us carefully through depositing money from another institution. Nice interest rates had brought us in today. We were able to complete our banking business with no errors, no problems; thus, surpassing our goals. Ms. Reynolds is friendly and competent. She was not above asking her supervisor to give input. We left the bank feeling very secure. Ms. Reynolds is an employee to be proud of, and we hope to see her smiling face every time we come to Southside Bank.β
βI go into this location regularly and have to say it is a pleasant bank. All of the employees acknowledge you and greet you. There is usually someone sitting at the front desk to help you get to the area of the bank that you need. The tellers are friendly and work quickly.β
βSeveral weeks ago I was headed to Tyler to open a new account for a business I am launching in January 2019. I had heard the advertisements for Austin Bank on KTBB radio, and liked what I have heard. I pulled over and checked the bank out, particularly the location on Old Bullard, and read the "one star" reviews from "Sweetness", Patrick, and Debra. Patrick's and Debra's are obviously personal grudges about work issues. When I read Sweetness complaining about Debbie Finley's questions, I knew the review was based on misunderstanding - Debbie was asking questions required to open an account at any bank - these are safeguards introduced by the Feds to interdict money laundering, drug revenue, terrorist funding, and other forms of fraud. I went to the bank and specifically asked for Debbie Finley. She asked me the same questions and more, as I was opening a business account. She was professional, pleasant, and helpful. She offered some options and helped me understand which would be the best fit for my business needs. I detected no falseness in her approach, she is a professional at every level, and a very competent representative of Austin Bank. In fact, everyone in the Bank I have dealt with has demonstrated high levels of professionalism, courteous service, and friendly attitudes. Life lesson, folks: Sometime you are so blinded by your own attitude you miss what is really coming at you. Need to open an account - go see Debbie Finley, just understand she has a job to do, one required by the federal laws and regulations, and she does her job - I wish everyone did!β

βHad a difficult start with a situation bc of my own doing. And it didnβt help after I read quite a few very harsh and negative reviews. I must say that I do agree with them up to my second encounter. After some praying and praying some more, I decided to walk back in and speak with a different office personnel. Not to cause conflict or strife, but I knew what financial assistance I was needing and I wasnβt getting it. I told her what I was looking for and convinced her that I meant what I was needing. Minnie really helped me tremendously and I mean this to the highest degree. She turned a very sour and negative feeling that I had for this institution into a big positive. She is open and very knowledgeable in her field. I am grateful for her taking her time with me and helping me at this time. Thumbs up. Go Minnie!!!β
