Stewart staff (Michael) was great in meeting the family's needs.
We were disappointed to learn that they charged $4650 for the cremation. (Why? Another funeral home in our city did the cremation; we learned that they charge almost 50% to 25% of this amount depending on the level of services needed.)

Excellent compassionate customer service. They have many free perks. They sent us home with a huge tray of sandwiches to insure that we remembered to eat.

It's the WORST thing In whole world to grade a Furneral Home bad, but l must. My father passed away in mid January. Drew, who was taking things me mis-handled several things though this very hard time. As of today? I have call the funeral home 4 times and left 4 messages for Drew to call me back.... Today I called his cell phone.... Message... no call back.... Do I need to call Mr, Stewart? So frustrating! Go to someone cares.

My husband and I are both very pleased and happy we chose Stewart Family Funeral Home, for our unborn son’s service. Drew worked with us from beginning to end. Even though it was something very small, private and intimate he made shure that we understood everything and, were okay with every decision including the smallest details. Drew took care of everything for us & that’s sometimes what you really need. Especially when you’re going through such a loss and your mind is else where like mine was. It’s always good to know that the funeral home you choose takes care of you, so that you can focus on taking care of your self before saying goodbye. They even worked with me to have my son’s memorial cards translated and printed in spanish. They also made shure my son’s service was officiated by a spanish speaking priest. They really do take into consideration whats important to you. Thank you Stewart Family Funeral Home for working with us every step of the way and for making shure my Angel had the most beautiful service.-Aparicio Family.

Make sure you have every detail of your prepaid funeral for your loved ones detailed, detailed , detailed. Went with my father-in-law just to see him have to pay 2000$ more for a casket that they thought they picked out because the person taking the notes wrote down a different unit. Bait and switch you decide We all walked out thinking we were at a shady used car place, but it's not like you can walk out and go buy a car another place!! Heckuva thing to have to do when you just lost a loved one.

My wife’s grandparents passed days of each other. Once we arrived at Stewart’s the door was opened for us and the receptionist greeted us very nicely. Randy was our funeral director. I have made arrangements for both of my parents in Dallas so this was not my first time. Randy was very professional throughout the whole process. We had a double funeral and Randy made sure that everything was taken care of from caskets all the way down to make sure the music and video worked on their equipment while we were there. He found Air Force service members to come in from Shreveport to give a proper service for my wife’s grandfather during these trying times. There were three children and I did not know who to present the flag to....Randy suggested to have a flag presented to each one and that he would have the two extra ones already folded so they could be presented. Randy and the whole staff did an exceptional job. I consider Randy a friend now for everything he did for my wife’s family.Thank you to everyoneGarry Pewitt

Stewart Family Funeral Home provided all the services for my husband's visitation, services and planning. Although my husband had been sick with cancer, it had gotten worse quickly. We had no arrangements made. The team of directors helped us through each step of the way. I cannot believe all the services that they provided through our initial meeting until the burial. I hope you consider them yourself. It was a wise move. Denise Cates Hogan

Services for both my parents were well done; 15 months apart. It feels like you’re in church and the reception area is nice, roomy and comfortable. The staff for both services were very professional as well as providing assistance with any need we had. I would highly recommend them. While planning the services, our representative gave us exactly what we asked for and did not try to sell us anything we didn’t want. I appreciated that, extremely while grieving. He answered our questions, explained our options and was very helpful. Thank you for making things easier during these tough times for our family.

I work with Stewart Family Funeral Home on a regular basis. They are both kind and professional and the customer always comes first. They are attentive to the needs of both the deceased and the living and are very easy to work with.

I don't like how the employees "toss" easels of expensive flowers into the vehicle to take to the church/cemetary----the recipients would be horrified as I was...
