I just recently moved to Tyler, and being away from family has been pretty lonely, so I decided to drop by the nearest pet store to me, which happened to be Petland and I'm grateful I went.
I went around and visited many of the areas and little exhibits for the animals they had to offer. I firstly visited the bunnies where I was helped by someone named Anthony. He was very kind and respectful when I mentioned looking for a little future companion, helped me look at multiple animals such as birds and other small animals.
I thanked him for his time, but at the time decided not to go with anything, however I very much was considering it and may come back when I am more financially stable. I still stopped around and looked at fish and some lizards.
The employees in the area there were kind as well, I made sure to ask for their names as they were also kind to my situation, and striked a pleasant conversation with the both of them. Their names were Zach and Tony, both very kind men, and if I was sure I could take care of a lizard or fish, I would have bought one from their department.
Overall, I had an amazing experience, and I can't wait to come back next month to see what's still in store, and hopefully leave with a friendly companion to make things less lonely.

Horrible and crazy pricing. I just want the dog? over here trying to finance a dog is just bizarre. Went in to get a dog and made me drive two hours just to get the pricing then it was 6,500 bucks! Is not worth the drive or doing business with them. They make you do a package type deal with them and will not sell the dogs without it which should be optional. I do not want to drive two hours to y’all’s vet for vaccinations and check ups! That’s crazy work.

Don't bother to get a pet from any Petland. You can not talk to anyone at the store every call goes to a call center and no price or price range for the animals.

I purchased my puppy from Petland a couple weeks ago, the whole process went smoothly, the staff was wonderful, they helped me choose the perfect little girl… definitely recommend them!

Went in to buy fish, we needed. I’ll start by saying that I haven’t liked Petland here for years. Needing a sucker fish we decided to try. While there we found a puppy we really wanted. Not thinking we stood a chance, we applied for financing anyway. Not only did they help us get the financing we needed, they treated us like royalty. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a puppy!

My wife and I stopped by on a whim - with an inclination- that we may wish to acquire a new puppy for our family out in Carthage, TX ( where we reside ).
After a meal in Tyler, TX, we stopped by and viewed a bounty of a selection of clean and fresh smelling puppies !
My wife & I were most pleased.
And guess what ? We did take home a delightful, playful, and handsome male puppy! A wonderful addition to our home !!
We are both most pleased with our experience, etc !
The manager of this Branch, Doug, was informative and guided us through the process — with no high pressure pitch, etc .
Again, very pleased with our experience of which he obviously spearheaded as well! Doug was valued for his time and sharing of his personal knowledge.
Nick was most pleasant and helpful as well!
We are very pleased to have visited Petland (Tyler, TX) and to take home our puppy last night !
We fully recommend viewing their selection of puppies and stopping by!
