These guys just saved our day and probably our whole trip. We showed up with a check engine light, a 42' horse trailer and 6 horses on. They fixed it in a hurry and got us back on the road. Everyone there was super nice and helpful.

Probably the worst service I've ever had at a dealership. And the worst part is I literally just bought a vehicle from them. This was my first service due.Noone would assist me between the cashier and service advisors. Everyone was on their cell phone. There were 5 people in the bays and me and my daughter stood there as they looked at us and went back to their phones or walked past us. I was promised gas and a vacuum on my first visit because of some mishaps on the paperwork end in sales. That didn't happen. Asked for a balance on the tires because it shakes when i go over 60mph..., apparently that's a long process according to the advisor and would cost me money.. now they rotated them for "free" and now it's worse than it was when I brought it to them. The tire pressures are all over the place, nowhere near the psi they should be.I was very pleased with management and sales dept during the purchase, but as far as the service department I'm beyond disappointed. I've never been treated so poorly. I get it it's Friday and everyone is ready for the weekend but customer service was a huge issue today. Hopefully it's better next time!

Went to Peltier Chevrolet in Tyler, Tx to get my wife's timing belt replaced. Got the belt replaced and 2 days later it smelled like burning rubber coming from the engine through the AC Vents. Took it in a couple days ago and they said "it was caused by oil leaking from the gasket valve cover". Yet, if it was already leaking before we took it in to change the timing belt, we would have smelled it. But this did not happen until AFTER the techs worked on the car. Then they only called her once and she tried to call back multiple times with no luck. They then had the audacity to not give a quote to get it fixed and then said it would cost more than her car is worth. That is pathetic business in my opinion, and I would recommend to anyone to not take your vehicle to Peltier Chevrolet in Tyler, Tx. They are supposed to do a multi point vehicle inspection to check for leaks, and they said they did and did not report anything abnormal. This is bulls***. Dealerships are supposed to be good quality, but I can do a better job than those so called professionals.

Made appt and then told they were days behind and had to drop the car! Only 1 vehicle and not offered a ride home. They need to focus on communication between their depts instead of all the high tech pics and videos they send you!

First off customer service was pretty good on the front end. Took my truck in for a true diagnosis. I had a p0302 code pop, misfire cylinder 2. Truck was parked. Took it here and left it for 2 days. Was called that the issue was a collapsed lifter ( I had already thought this was it, im glad they confirmed) then they said they were hearing noises from my camshaft and my oil pressure was low, and it took a long time to build up. Told me I'm better off getting a new motor for 8grand plus change. I asked how did my oil pressure drop after leaving it with you because I'm having a hard time understanding this. Answers were vague at best. I go down there to pay the 155 fee, turn the key and viola... oil pressure is the same as it was when I dropped it off. What rubs me wrong is if it actually spun a bearing then I would opt for a rebuild or new motor. That was not the case as my truck is very well maintained ( Case and point parking it when CEL lit up). I honestly believe they were trying to take me to the cleaners. I can't recommend this establishment because honesty goes a long way. The people I spoke with were nice and friendly I give my customer service rating a 5☆. Service end 1☆. The only reason why I give one star is because I dealt with nice people...IF I could get ahold of someone. I took my car in for a simple brake replacement. They had to keep my car for two nights because they ordered the wrong pads. In addition, when I left the auto shop I could tell something was wrong with my car. I called them and told them my car wasn't braking properly and it was making a funny noise. They kept my car overnight again. Claimed to fix the problem that was causing the noise my car was making. They didn't. I took it to another auto shop and they had it for an hour to inspect it and automatically was able to tell me what the problems were. I will never go to this place again. I want my money back because the other shop had to FIX AND REPLACE EVERYTHING THAT CHEVY CLAIMED TO FIX.

Don't go here! Sales are adding 5500 to cars and twice service has been a let down. 1st time stole a phone cable from me and second time they didn't have the tools to preform a service. I called before coming in and they didn't have the information that they couldn't do a simple safety check.

My service advisor was Cindy. She is awesome!! Kept me up to date what was going on with my truck and everything! Most service departments at dealerships don’t call you back or anything!! They also provided a pretty neat video inspection of my truck. Peltier also finished my service in a pretty quickly manner I have two relatives that work for dealerships even they were surprised how fast they were done!

The staff are wonderful and accommodating to the needs of their customers. They take care of our vehicles but the customers too. I am glad they take such good care of me and my car
