I got charged nearly $300 for basic tax forms. The person that did my taxes was nice enough, but seemed uneducated on tax info. She didn’t even tell me what I was getting charged for until the front desk person told her to and even then it doesn’t make sense to get charged $300. I was expecting it to be around $150. Especially since I got $1700, well $1400 after she gets her cut. I don’t have kids or a business. If I knew how much it would be before I had gone, I would of left. I will not be returning or referring anyone.Update: not sure what yall did to my tax return but the IRS is holding my refund and requiring me to further verify my ID.
