Lazyboy is no longer the OLD fashion LAZYBOY that you could trust and rely on. I had a set that was almost 30 years old and is in fair condition but was remodeling my home and decided to have new furniture and was planning a significant family event at my home. Lazyboy is now owned and operated by LEDCO out of Dallas. Michelle Mauldin who apparently was supposed to be a manager had no clue what she was saying or promising.
LEDCO out of Dallas was originally delivering my NEW furniture at the end of March, but that didn’t work for them, and then they suggested April 3, but called the day before April 3 to say their delivery day was full for them so they’re going to now deliver it on April 12 they only deliver to Tyler on a Friday (meanwhile I gave all my furniture away April 2 because I thought it was coming that week).
April 11 the day before proposed delivery they called and stated they had lost my couch but they have the recliner… would I like the recliner while we’re waiting to find the couch I responded no!
I asked them to replace the order for a new couch as soon as possible to be delivered and they told me they couldn’t until they find the original one. So, I’m to suffer… because of their error and lost and found??? I had an very important family event that I had ordered this furniture for, and because of their poor management and working ethics and dishonesty and the furniture never arriving the family event had to be moved at my additional expense. NO ONE CARES HERE!!!
April 19, they called and found a couch just like mine ONLY it’s in chocolate brown, not the beige as I ordered. Would I’d like that with my beige recliner? Michelle stated it wouldn’t look too bad … they would go together, and by the way the couch is a manual recliner. It’s not the power recliner which I ordered. I responded no!
April 26 they called late in the day and said they found my coach it is in Illinois, and I live in TEXAS they were having it shipped to them. They would get in touch with me next week. - -
April 30 they called me apparently the couch arrived at the Dallas Warehouse in a million pieces. It is totally unsalvageable.
I asked how it was delivered to Dallas by horse and buggy? Are these people for real? THEY DID NOT AND DO NOT CARE!!!
I asked what NOW??? I was to receive that order of furniture 6 to 8 weeks after it was placed which would’ve been mid-March and here, I was at the end of April and no new furniture.
They said they would put a NEW order in right away and put it on the top of the list.
Michelle called back 10 min later apologizing and said we have a slight problem that fabric you choose is no longer available with that group of fabrics, it has been removed from the options. We are sorry to tell you this, but could you please go to the store in Tyler and pick out a new fabric choice.
I finally realized and I now know why this whole process has dragged on as long as it has. God‘s finally getting through to me and I’m clearly hearing the message he’s delivering to me “DO NOT BUY ANYTHING” from Lazyboy NOW OR EVER!!!
I was so mad after a silent moment or two, I responded, I don’t know. I’m going to have to pray and think about this and discuss it with my family.
They responded, “OK we will be looking forward to hearing from you and we must point out try and do it as soon as possible because this new set will take anywhere from 8 to 20 weeks for delivery!”
I went into the TYLER store the next afternoon and told the manager who was my sales agent to cancel the order now I'm done with incompetent, non caring LAZYBOY
There are a lot of great stores to shop for furniture from in Tyler, and much cheaper then LAZYBOY PLEASE check the reviews out before your shop. Remember, LAZYBOY is not the great quality furniture store it used to be, where you could get 30 years of quality

No longer stands behind their products. Do not spend your money here and definitely do not custom order furniture as they will not take returns for issues. Never heard back from management and corporate is useless.

Mr. Hart at the Broadway location was amazing. He showed my Aunt exactly what she wanted to see and helped her make an informed decision. She loves her new recliner and the whole experience was pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend

We purchased this reclining sofa a year ago and it’s out of warranty of course. We had a repair person come to look at it and they want to charge us $405.95 to repair it. So ridiculous I’ve own many lazy boy products and have never had any issues what so ever until my husband and I this reclining sofa . I am not happy about this at all we spent alot of money on all 3 pieces of furniture. And to have it fall apart after year is unacceptable . Would like to request a credit to purchase something else !

Poor finish underneath the chair. Nothing like my 25-30 year-old La-z-Boy!!

Won’t stand behind their warranty or their guardian program that you pay for. My couch is broken a few months after buying and they want me to pay for someone to come out and fix it. Will never buy another product from here again even though I’ve been a loyal customer for years.

Wow! I called to report that my couch is broken, but they said I was fat and broke it myself. Disgusting! I am not overweight, and now my couch is broken and my feelings are hurt.

I will no longer be buying lazyboy furniture. We have had & loved lazy boy furniture for years until recently. When Lebco bought them out, it now is almost impossible to get warranty work done. Before if you had an issue you could call, someone would come out & in just a few minutes repair your furniture & be on their way.Now you have to take your furniture to store for repairs & wait weeks before getting your furniture back. They have to order parts, wait for them to come in & then fix your furniture, wait for a call that your furniture is ready & then you can pick up, you’re not even given a good time frame of when your furniture will be done. In meantime your favorite chair or couch or whatever is missing in your living room for weeks & you have nowhere to sit. Definitely a down grade from the previous customer service!!!I will no longer purchase lazyboy & encourage others to go to another retailer that will service your furniture at your home!!

I wish I could say I love my Lazyboy sofa, but I don't. The center cushion is small, much smaller than the other two. It's so small that all the cushions are loose and move around. The center cusion travels forward constantly, forcing the back cushion to fall behind and crooked. I have to pull the back cushion out and put the middle cushion, and every other cusion back in place numerous times a day. It's the most disappointing piece of furniture I've ever owned, and I'm almost 60. I've owned many pieces of furniture.

I would absolutely not recommend shopping at this store or purchasing a Lazy Boy product. I give them two stars only because there are some professional, long time employees from a time when this was a decent store and sold a quality product. If you do buy a product here, and never need service after the sale, you will most likely be satisfied. If you have a problem with your furniture after the sale it's a disaster. The so called "lifetime warranty" isn't worth the paper it's written on. It covers parts only and after paying service fees and labor you might as well throw your furniture away and start over. We tried dealing with two different "customer service" agents in the ****** area. One would not return our calls and the other was so rude we gave up speaking with her.I wish I had done more research and looked at reviews prior to our purchase. Lazy Boy has a long list of unresolved customer complaints and it appears there is no one in a position to correct the problems who cares.Buyer beware !!!!!
