Have purchased three autos from Scott here at Kent’s…All had zero major issues…One needed a new catalytic converter and Scott took care of the issue as he said he would. All of my purchases took a hour or less from start to finish.Good people..!

My family has been buying cars from Kent's for a few years now and we will continue to for the foreseeable future.
Buying used cars always comes with a risk of hidden issues and malfunctions, but the staff here has always been helpful within reason.
Our most recent purchase was a minivan and within a month its engine died. Scott in the front office was very understanding and arranged for us to have the entire thing replaced (a several thousand dollar job) for free.
Not long after, the alternator died during this most recent freeze and Scott yet again came through. This time with a same day replacement. While this was not free, we were only charged for the part and it was just added to the overall lease of the vehicle.
We've been to most used cars places in Tyler, but Kents is the only one that has had anywhere this level of customer service.
Definitely my family's favorite used car dealership in town.
*Quick edit. I read a review insinuating that they got rejected for having biracial children. Not to say that they are liars, but I am very obviously biracial and I've had a very positive experience. With them. I hate that they had something like that happen, but I would take that feedback with a grain of salt

Please please please stay far away from this lot. I was rejected and made to feel dumb and helpless by their sales associate while standing in the parking lot. All this without introducing himself or even asking me my name. Very different from the treatment I received when I didn't bring my biracial children with me. He also failed to remember that he had approved me for a car just a few short months prior to this visit. This is how Kent's allows their sales associates to treat veterans and their families. Me and my family, or "community" as the salesman put it bought a car from an entirely different lot. Shout out to chemas for treating me like a person and apologizing for Kent's auto when they didn't have to.

Racism at the top of the hierarchy…My son and I went there because they had a Honda Accord on the lot.I have never been treated so disrespectful in my life.My son worked hard all summer saw this vehicle and was ready to purchase only to be told I Can’t Sell To You Now Leave…As stunned as I was I couldn’t believe this was happening.If you are looking to purchase vehicle don’t go there.Know I see why they have horrible reviews..

Went because I was interested in purchasing a truck. Had cash in hand but didn’t make the salesman aware of that due to the reviews. Filled out the application and before I could sit down I was automatically judged and was accused of purchasing the vehicle for someone else. Gladly took my business across the street to Tyler autoplex and purchased with someone who would appreciate my business. Kent’s, good luck with keeping your business up to par with your rude and judgmental salesman! The lady that sits in the other office never looked at me or spoke a word lol so can’t tell you much about her.
