Be cautious of doing business here. We should have walked away instead of buying. We bought this 2021 Honda Insight Touring during the beginning stages of the Covid 19 pandemic. Good interest rate of 1.9% for 60 months etc. At first they would not sell to my wife due to her status in the USA. She had the paperwork and everything that legally allowed her to stay here and she's been here since she was a little kid. She has bought multiple used and new cars in her name no repos always paid on time etc. This was the first dealership to say we can't sell to her because of her status. You had to finance through Honda to get the incentives with the rate and all. Rates were a bit high if not financed through Honda. Which basically made her cry and demanded her keys back. I ended up buying it for her and letting her drive it back as her own since it was the car she wanted. We had it for about 3 years and serviced it here with no issue. Recently She wanted to sell because she was tired of the car. We sold it to CarMax and actually got money back from selling it. We got appraised over what we owe so we were supposed to get a check back for gap and extended warranty. That's where the nightmare started. It became a battle between Honda and CarMax on the amount due back to us and Honda took our last payment saying that we owed when we didn't. We had all the documents and proof but they kept refusing to give us our money. Luckily CarMax did all the talking and we got most of our Money with the lost of a few hundred due to GAP being another fight we did not want to deal with. Here where this Honda Dealership left another bad taste in our mouth. We were told that we had to get the dealership that we bought the car from to fill out the form to get our extended warranty back. We went and told them and they filled out the paperwork. I even told them that we moved and provided current address that we live at and they took all the information and fill out the paperwork and submitted it for us. Well its was close to 5 weeks and we called and at first they informed us that we didn't do that etc. Luckily they gave us a copy and we told them we had documentation. Then they were like oh okay yea we found it etc. Said to give it another 2 weeks........Two week is ending. We called Honda corporate.....and what do you know.....they sent the check to the old place......epic fail. So just to verify we pulled out the document and found that they updated the paper they gave us, but failed to update the system.....Really? So now we have to wait another 4-6 Weeks. We loved the car and it was a gas saver, but we will not be back due to our experience with corporate and this dealership.

JOD Honda has a great team! Lance, Joe, and Samantha were extremely responsive and helpful. A process I thought would be stressful was quicker and easier than expected! They helped my family of 4 drive away with a brand new vehicle.

Another great experience with JOD Honda of Tyler and working with James Cole. James is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This is the 3rd new car I’ve purchased from JOD and working with James. Would highly recommend both the dealership and James.

We just purchased a new CRV at Jack O’ Diamonds. We had stopped by the lot a few months ago to look at the latest models but were not ready to make a purchase. A salesperson approached us but was not aggressive and gave us his card. When we were ready to buy, we went back to him and he found the exact vehicle we wanted. Respectful, thorough, personable, and fair. That was our J.O.D. experience!

Working with Drew was stress free. He answered questions well and provided options based on the information I gave him. I ask a lot of questions, and he answered every one promptly and honestly. I would say the same of Leo in finance. They know how to read the room and allow the customer to make their own choice. This is my second purchase through them, and I'll go back for the next one, too.

Sales person Rick Dunn was great. Couldn't ask for better. Ask for Rick! We bought two. One new and one used.
Finance/contract people on the other hand, for two different cars in one weekend, were way too 'by the book', pushy and just didn't listen when repeatedly told no for add-ons to the contract. It almost ruined the whole experience. Will go back but would hate to have to deal with either of those finance people again.

I just want everyone to know what a positive experience I had at this Honda Dealership in Tyler June 20, 2024. I live in Mansfield Tx and had earlier in the day gotten an oil change at a Vandergriff Honda in Arlington Tx. We left Arlington around 4pm & was on the way out of town towards Shreveport. Around 5:30 we hit a bump in the road and heard a "scrape sound" under the car. Pulled over and saw that the what we now know is a Splash Shield which covers area where they replace the oil was falling down because it was not properly fastened after the service tech changed the oil. We were not sure how far we could even drive the car as well as further damaging the undercarriage of car. We then saw there was a Honda dealership located in Tyler called & talked to Julie. At this point I also realized that this dealership closes at 6pm and the time is 5:46 & I was still over 20min away. I explained to Julie what was happening and she very graciously said that while they would be closed when we arrive but she would stay later along w a service technician which I am sorry I dont know their name. It took maybe 15 min and we were repaired and back on the road. I dont want to think about what could of happened if Julie did not answer the phone but thankfully she did!! Ty Jack O' Diamonds Honda Dealership in Tyler!!!

Lance Nichols? We’ve all had that salesman that acts like they have no time for you after the sale. Lance is at the other end of the spectrum from one of those kind of salesmen. I had a last minute emergency trip pop up months after buying a 2024. Oil was a quart low. I called Lance late on a Friday evening for the appropriate oil to add. He took the time, with his family’s noise in the background, to graciously help me.

My wife was in an accident and her car was totaled. We began shopping for a new car. We looked at a nissan kicks and a Honda civic. My wife perfered the honda, since we purchased a new one in 2006. We contacted another dealer in longview who told us they had a great selection. That turned out not to be true. So the following day she reched out to Lance at Jack O Diamonds . He informed her that yhey had 1 honda civic Lx left in stock. We arrived at 10am and was greeted by Lance. He walked us around the car and offered us a test drive. He was very patient and knowledgable. We closed the deal. Thanks Lance for helping my wife get the car that she wanted. I highly reccommend this business if you are looking for a Honda. My wife has been driving her new car for 2 days, and loves it.

Went in to change a steering wheel due to faulty part that caused wheel to "Stick" when trying to turn. Extremely dangerous at high speeds. My (AMAZING) service advisor was able to get the part ordered and I was told to return in a few months to get the part installed. My wheel alignment was perfectly straight when I dropped the car off. When I came back to pick up the car, it was messed up. I returned 3 times until the manager, Cory, came out to explain to me that they tilt the wheel sideways to combat the slanted grades of the roads. I told him that I want my wheel the way that it was when I dropped the car off, I did not ask for this senseless modification. He said he would make "adjustments" and that it would take about 10-15 minutes. He came out 10 minutes later as promised. He even had a little screwdriver to serve as optics that he actually "worked" on my car. I am 100% confident that he did not work on the car as the wheel is just as crooked as it has been since they messed it up. I am quite frustrated because I changed from one problem to another. Furthermore, my touchscreen is messed up. It turns colors and becomes unresponsive. They told me that it was my phone. My phone works on every other car that my family owns with no problem. They said that I should not use my phone with my car anymore so that the screen will "work". Their tech, Jesus, told me that there is a faulty part and that they would have to change that part to get it fixed. I asked him to do so but he refused saying that Honda needs to duplicate the problem themselves. I sent about 15 videos and images with dates on when the issue arises and all they could tell me was not to use my phone rather than replacing the part. I told them that I had Honda Care which is supposed to cover these things but it looks like they don't want to honor the warranty. I guess they have to come out of pocket so they don't want to. They "worked" on it and said they did a factory reset. When I went to the settings, I noticed that the tech Jesus, my friend, and my own phone, was still connected to the car. When a factory reset is done, ALL settings and connections are supposed to be deleted. I took a picture of that too just in case they try to lie or make up some excuse. I am disappointed with the service and with HONDA in general. I am disappointed with CORY and JESUS. They were not able to do something as simple as a wheel alignment or at least advocate for me to get my faulty part replaced. They want me to come and pay $250 for a transmission flush. How do I know that they will actually do the work when everything they have done so far has been subpar? How do I know that they won't accidentally put Kool-aid instead of transmission fluid? I am not impressed.
