Have used Hughes for years!!! I was a mechanic till retirement. I don’t trust just anyone with my vehicles!
I take all my vehicles to Billy as have many friends and family also. Just put an engine in my pickup. Not gonna find better ANYWHERE!

Hughes Automotive has worked on my vehicles for over 10 years. Always very conscientious, making sure everything is as it should be & fixed correctly. I once had an issue with my engine light coming on. They figured out it was the gas cap, of all things! They tried three different ones before one worked correctly. Many other fixes, but that one blew my mind!!!

I’ve been dealing with Hughes Automotive for about 15 years. I have been pleased with all the work they have done on my vehicles. Billy,the owner, knows cars and what he doesn’t know he will find out. Jay has worked on all of my vehicles and does exceptional work and is very knowledgeable as well. Alan and Charlie are also very knowledgeable on cars. I highly recommend Hughes Automotive for all your automotive needs!

Hughes Automotive is wonderful! They replaced the wheel hub and bearings on my car. Great customer service representative too! Any business that takes care of animals has a great heart. Add in quality work like they do at Hughes and it’s a no brainer!

The staff here is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. A few weeks ago, I backed my car into a ditch/driveway dip and knocked something off the bottom. I took it to Hughes and they had it done the next day, and it’s back to normal. I highly recommend this shop!Services: Steering & suspension repair

Looked up mechanic shops in Tyler for my daughters car. Found Hughes and they had good reviews . She needed front struts replaced on her car. They completed the job and price was half of what others quoted . Job completed on a Thursday, Sunday she came home to visit and stated her brakes was acting weird . I checked the fluid and it was bone dry. Got under the car and noticed the hose the goes into the caliber the screw was loose. Every time she press the brakes it would pour out completely. Called there after hours number and never got a return call until Monday . My daughter took car in Monday and the fixed the issue and completed the job and she was waiting on a ride to pick her car up . Then I finally get a return call telling me to bring car in and let them look at it. I said sir the car is in your shop right now! Phone gets silent……. So I’ll let you be the judge if you decide to take your vehicle there! I mean how dangerous could that have been for my daughter if her brakes went out?Service: Steering & suspension replacement
