I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Chelsea! She absolutely transformed my blonde hair by adding stunning pink highlights that perfectly complement my style. From the moment I walked in, her professionalism and creativity shone through.
Chelsea took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered valuable suggestions that made the final look even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail is exceptional—each strand was meticulously placed, resulting in a vibrant and beautifully blended color.

Update: as you can see, the owner responded and all of it is for show. I called her back after not hearing back for 2 weeks about fixing my literal chop-job, and she immediately started yelling at me and called me a con for simply asking for my hair to be fixed to the best that it can be and a refund. When I tried to speak, she started yelling over me and hung up. They screwed up my hair and regardless of the color, they should fix it. Yes, I do think I should be refunded for everything that was done to my head, regardless if the all-over color is right or not because my hair is jacked up 3 ways from Sunday. Glitter on poop is still poop. She won’t fix it and never intended to. Yes, I told my stylist while I was there and she even said, “Let’s rebook you for 10 weeks out to let it grow back.” Melissa even called me and told me the stylists cut at a 45 and that’s why my hair is flipping out, and that thinning shears are used when a stylist doesn’t know how to properly blend. She told me that mistakes happen unfortunately but that’s how stylists have to learn, at the customer’s expense. So at the end of the day, you will leave with screwed up and they won’t fix it. They’ll call you a con and that’s supposedly ok with Melissa as she is more than proud of herself in all of this. She’s the real con.
I went in with a very specific cut with photos of what I wanted and left with a hack job. Unwanted layers, thinning sheers were used on my hair without asking and instead of the curtain bangs I asked for, I now have the most atrocious, thinned bang that can only be hidden with a headband. The owner reached out, agreed that my hair is not what I asked for and promised a refund because of this. But she only refunded $29 for the cut. She claims that because the color was fine, I wasn’t entitled to a full refund, even though they destroyed my hair and I have to walk around like this for the next 6 months. She also promised to get me back in to fix it and help me style it before leaving for vacation, where I’m also having family pictures done, and of course, like the promise of a refund, did not follow through with her promise.

Headmasters is my go-to for anything to do with my hair. I always make my appointments with Cambree, who is a fantastic hairdresser and has never let me down, but everyone there is friendly and talented, and I would recommend every one of them! I have never had anything less than an amazing experience here, whether it was getting my hair trimmed, dyed, or an entirely new look. Cambree works with me to get the style I want and I love the unique spin she puts on everything! She's very personable and outgoing, and remembers little things that really make a good hairstylist. I have also gotten amazing hair products and recommendations from this salon, including the shampoo and styling gel I currently use. I just had an appointment for a trip the other day and have another scheduled a month from now. Can't wait to go back!
2024 update: I live in San Antonio now but still come back to Cambree (a 5hr drive but so worth it!) when I need a good hairstyle that I just can’t get anywhere else. Yesterday I got a perm from Cambree and Jake, her amazing assistant. They went above and BEYOND to do my hair and I’m so happy with the results. I went in with a different idea of what I wanted but thankfully Cambree suggested a change, and it made ALL the difference. I feel 100% more confident with myself because of their help. The atmosphere was also just incredible, I felt so comfortable and safe there. Also, I arrived at 6pm on a Friday night, and they stayed LATE to make sure I was happy with my results. Absolutely amazing job from Jake and Cambree, thank you both!

Lupe completely transformed me! I had the BEST experience here and have found my hair person. She is one of like 3 stylist my whole life who actually did the exact haircut I wanted. I feel like a brand new person! 100000/10 recommend her! Adding a before and after and I swear she made me look younger! ?
She also took the time to teach me how to style my hair and let me try it in the chair to make sure I was doing it right. Truly impressed!

Came in yesterday for a hair cut. Which is a terrifying thing for me considering its been 12 years since I could find someone to do exactly what I ask for. She knocked it out of the park. Absolute PERFECTION! I can tell she takes pride in her work. I'll never go anywhere else except to Esther at Headmasters. I'm still smiling today because I feel like my true self again. Thank you Esther You ARE THE BEST!

Cheslea was so attentive , caring, & was an enjoyable stylist to book with. She listed to all my younger brothers concerns when it came to what he wanted done, & what not to do. She offered him a shampoo at the end, & we felt very appreciative. She would speak to him & genuinely listen to what he had to say. Will be rebooking with her as soon as we are in town again!

I went and got my hair done by Maddi. I was extremely happy with the results and would for sure get my hair done here again.
The place is very clean, everyone there is really friendly. I would very much recommend this place to others who, are looking for a place to get their hair done. :)

Went in their with my long nice thick hair hoping to get more shape, as well as an inch off length wise. My hairs to my shoulders so an inch is definitely doable. I came out with my hair overly thinned and even less shapely then before, and honestly she really only took like maybe a quarter inch off so don’t recommend for men unless you wanna look like a 12 year old femboy. Now I’ve gotta wait over a year to have my nice thick hair back. Huge L

I booked my first visit online with Alex. She was amazing and understood exactly what I wanted from a somewhat unusual cut. I’ve tried a couple other salons in the area and I’m psyched to have found someone who does alt cuts and works with my natural texture instead of blowing it straight. Salon had good vibes and good music too. Will definitely be back!

I’m from out of town, but this is my go-to salon whenever I’m visiting Tyler TX. Maddi does my haircuts and most recently, I booked a color appointment with Chelsea who did my blonde balayage. Both of the stylists that I have personally worked with were attentive and responded well to my feedback. The end results looked just like the color-reference photos I’d presented. Very happy with my results!
