In 2016, Jordan Johnson was responsible for our loan experience from hell. We were first time homebuyers and had the worst experience of our LIFE. It was such a disaster from start to finish that one realtor basically recused himself and his partner got out of the profession completely after our nightmare of a loan was finished. Jordan should have had the foresight to refer us to another officer, and excused himself. Every time I turned around he was out of the office “sick” for most of the week, and would go days without returning my correspondence and then finally respond with no explanation whatsoever. However when he needed to call me to tell me he had made lending credit mistakes and I was going to have to fork over my entire income for a month, he wasted no time. I will never do business again with a lending officer who has less than 6 months with the branch they’re representing. It took me 4 years (until now) to financially recover from his mistakes. Fortunately my experience with Guild outside of Jordan has been a good one in the 4 years since, but he is solely responsible for immeasurable grief back then, and made our first home buying experience, probably our last home buying experience. I’d rather chew glass than do that again, and you’d think after this long we’d find something to laugh about. We don’t. I use our story as a warning flare to tell every person who will listen what not to do, and definitely who not to walk that road with.

My husband and I just purchased our first home and Sherry Paull was our loan officer. Both her and her assistant, Kelli Sherwood, were very professional and made the process smooth and easy for us. They were organized and processed everything in a timely manner. In addition, we had an awesome real estate agent named Steffi Burrell Bowers who collaborated really well with Guild. We definitely recommend this company to any home buyers!

I work nearby and drive past this location almost everyday. And also almost everyday there is a fancy car parked in the parking lot. The only problem is that this car is always parked over the line, into the handicap spot. I happen to be a person with disabilities and find this very offensive. I was in need of a mortgage for a new home, but I decided to go to the competition instead, because of this rudeness. if this is how they behave in a parking lot, imagine how they are in person.
