Described my problem, and the tech said bring it in right now I can look at it immediately. Dropped everything and brought it in as instructed. Upon arrival :15 minutes later, the front desk gal said he was at lunch. But she called him. Then came back to me and said first pay the fee, then it will be 3-5 working days. Why waste my time?

I see someone else was charged an expedited fee of $20 9 months ago, but I was quoted a price yesterday of $65 for them to look at my laptop to see what type of battery it needed before it could be ordered and repaired. However, I used Speedy cell phone and laptop repair in Athens, TX, who only needed to flip the computer over to see the model number on the bottom to order the correct battery. Glad I did not go with ETV because in this instance I feel mistreated. Just doesn’t seem like an honest business practice or way to treat customers. :(

I dropped my MacBook Air off because I was unable to use it due to a broken screen. I found this place on google and thought I would try and see if it’s possible to fix it. I was quoted before they fixed and the turn around time was faster than expected. When I used my computer after picking it up, it worked like new. They did a wonderful job.

The service was just unacceptable.They have extra fee just to look at it. The cost of expedited for someone to look at it as a diagnostic.Apparently, they can’t even figure what was wrong with my Dell laptop where the attached screen for touch screen part. All they needed was the part to process to replace because it was kinda lose and can’t close the top lid properly.They didn’t even refund me back the expedited fee or whatever. I lost $20 but all I’m saying in here just to show that some people don’t know what they doing and I don’t know why people still go to them to fix their stuff.

I loved this team! They were extremely welcoming throughout the entire process. The have great communication skills and are very lively with their customer service. These guys are great! This week was my first time using them. Our PC crashed a few days ago and things looked hopeless, honestly haha. But Luke and the crew up at ETV got this sophisticated system working like a charm ??. I'll definitely be calling them first next time this dang thing crashes ?

I had an external hard drive crash and as a result, couldn’t be read by my laptop. I took it to ETV Software, since their website says they do data recovery. They told me they would take a look so I paid them and left my drive with them. They called back within the 3-5 day window they gave me, but what they told me didn’t sit well with me: they told me my drive was formatted and no data could be recovered.I knew this wasn’t true, because I hadn’t formatted my drive and I knew that, had it been just formatted, it would show on my laptop as empty. When I went to pick up the drive, I asked to speak to someone about it because I was confused. The tech who came up just repeated that it was formatted, no data could be recovered, and was obviously not interested in talking to me. I was told he wasn’t the one who worked on my drive, and that that tech wasn’t available to talk to me.I was upset and was about to just cut my losses and get a new drive, when I found someone new somewhere else to take a look at it for me. I’d explained everything to him and he thought it was odd how ETV handled the situation. He proceeded to scan my drive and recover my files for me. He saw them all and recovered everything.TL;DR: ETV Software says they do data recovery, but they clearly didn’t want to mess with my external drive so they just told me that my drive had been formatted and that no data could be recovered. I took it elsewhere because I knew my drive hadn’t actually been formatted, and had all my data recovered and returned to me. So, if you’re in a situation like I was, I’d suggest you find somewhere else to go. Don’t waste your time.

I just have to say that I am overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion Warren gave to me today. Long story short, he ordered a new motherboard for my computer and it would not work. So he stayed after hours so I would have time to come by with my new computer and let him swat the NVME so I could keep all my information for my college courses. These are the type of employees you rarely see anymore. I recommend anyone having computer issues to contact Warren and I'm sure that you will get the same kindness and compassion that is needed now more than ever. Thank you so much Warren!!!

ETVSoftware delivered excellent repair service for my wife's Dell laptop computer. I trusted my gut not to let the few low reviews deter me from choosing them to look at and estimate my repairs. From the time I was greeted in the lobby by the ladies at the front to the excellent status updates from my Technician Luke, I knew I was in good hands here. The pricing was very fair and in my case they worked with me regarding my own purchased parts that was not used. This review is not based on my feelings but the excellent service and all around experience I had. I highly recommend giving this business a chance if you want your equipment repaired correctly and in a timely matter.
