It’s a an earthly delight to walk this path in an endearing garden setting. It’s a slice of heaven. So much beauty can be attained with a little effort and planning. I saw it in practice with my own eyes. The plucky chickens and a dear friendly cat makes a visitor feel like they’re at a happy home with the gracious creator/artist owner.

This is a hidden gem in Tyler. It is eclectic, whimsical, beautiful and yet very calming. I loved the chickens and getting to hold one. Dory is an amazing person. She is so kind. She takes the time to actually talk with you. We were only going to be there about an hour but the time flew by. 2 hours later we headed on our way. Love love love this place

Our favorite stop on our short road trip to Tyler. Dory was so sweet and her shop and gardens were beautiful! There are fun surprises around every corner! Her plants are gorgeous and healthy and reasonably priced!

My daughter had seen this place and we decided to check it out. It’s a gardener’s paradise! The selection of flowers and plants is extensive and Dory is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of gardening and landscaping. Never will I go back to Lowe’s or Home Depot for plants!

I had a magical and enchanting visit! I became an official “hen hugger” when I was given the honor of walking the gardens holding a therapy chicken! I bought interesting succulents and planters and I can’t wait for them to find a place in our yard. The best thing about Dory’s Gardens is Dory herself! It was such a pleasure to meet her!

Dory’s Garden is a little slice of Heaven almost hidden within the heart of Tyler’s historical azaela district. She has the most unique gifts, gorgeous pottery, whimsical ironworks, fantastic fountains, playful chimes and of course beautiful plants! Dory is so kind and inviting. Please go visit and see for yourself! I promise you will leave the garden feeling inspired and full of joy. Oh and don’t forget to hug the hens while visiting?
