Love this place, but sad they didn't have my book and didn't seem to care about me being a local writer that needs a little local support. Other than that I highly recommend this book store unless your looking for Lil Gary's World lol one day y'all

The staff at the checkout desk and Cafe were all kind and helpful. I went in to look for a gift and was very pleased with the selection available, though some things were quite pricey--as to be expected from Barnes and Noble. The children's section was wonderfully displayed, and I loved the variety of personalized items.

My issue is with the cafe. I love going to Barnes and Nobles but this time I decided to have a meeting in the cafe. I arrived to the cafe and it was only 4 customers there sitting down. I was the only one in line. The staff proceeded to ignore me for 10 minutes without communicating with me at all. A rude staff woman with a short haircut came to the register and was silent. I told her my drink and proceeded with my meeting. Usually when your drink is done they will call it out like I witnessed them do while I waited to order but they allowed my drink to sit there and didn’t even tell me it was ready. I usually love this cafe but this time was it. We all have to work I get it but rude behavior isn’t apart of the job. And on top of that I felt a racist vibe which wasn’t ok at all.

I have always loved going to Barnes and Nobles. This location proved just as worthy! They have every genre of literature one can imagine! An adventure on every shelf and the store itself is an adventure all on its own!

Place is always nice, been seeing reviews about “ propaganda” in various places in this store. I have been shopping here for a decade and I gotta say one thing. It’s a bookstore, books made by authors, and illustrators, books are a form of art, and artistic opinion is always important in society. You cannot just shut out something because you don’t like it, but you do have a right not purchase it. No one is forcing anything upon you. One person’s Villain is another persons Hero. Anyways, this place has always been clean and friendly and the workers are helpful, I would just say could we get a bigger location one day? Tyler has grown exponentially in the past decade and I think an upgrade would be nice.
