We hired them to move us on May 31 of this year. I will say this, the movers were nice and handled our furniture ok. The set up was very easy to schedule the move.

They hire thieves as drivers and moving crews. Atlas Van Lines has the most practiced thieves in the industry. Somewhere between Texas and Pennsylvania, ALL of my US Army uniforms, a value of at least $ 8,000 mysteriously disappeared. I don't know where they fenced them to line their pockets or how the package manifest somehow morphed and they were unlisted - and thus "never existed" - yet it happened. Paperwork different, no proof, no pictures, no crime. Strangely, a jewelry box they packed into a one of their boxes arrived completely empty. Low value costume jewelry (we'd taken the good stuff out beforehand), but never contracted as additional compensation for an expensive relocation move. ATLAS is a no class, no honor, no integrity operation. Avoid them.

This company, also known as Tyler Moving and Storage moved my family in June of this year. (06/2015) After a broken $1800 TV that was packed by the movers ( I was told it wasn't packed properly, my fault apparently), broken crystal from my aunt's 1955 wedding (packed in the front of the van to be crushed by the thousands of pounds of other boxes), various other broken vases and a dresser that looked like one of the movers dropped it off the back of the moving truck I was offered $100 of “good will†money because I didn't pay for the extra insurance. The moving company made me wait 90 days for that nugget of info after I was made to fill out the paper for the insurance company and submit it. What for I have no idea. I would not recommend this company to move steel balls much less my home again. Thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck finding anybody else except these people to move you. Jason Layne P.S. The movers actually had the audacity to ask for a tip as we were looking at my busted TV.
