Bought my home from here three almost four years ago ! Ownership changed hands ! I was not notified in regards . Prior owner stated All my appliances were covered under a warranty . That they sent the cards out themselves. Three years after this fact I am now in debt for over three grand . Due to lack of communication, and fables . Take this to mind ! I am furious ! My heater was not covered ! Only one year warranty! The ac is steady freezing over ! Which I am now paying service charges and labor fees for ! Warranty only covered parts ! I was lied to mislead ! I understand this is new ownership however the home was bought under the same exact company name . I get excuses and curves thrown . I feel as if someone should make this right ! Your word is your word !

Absolutely love this crew! They did a fantastic job helping us get the purchase completed, contractors contacted and house delivered and set up! Eric is the best! Charlie is nicest guy on earth! Their contractors are amazing! Couldn’t be happier!

Ashlie is the best hands down! No offense to everyone else working there. Everyone was kind and helpful. They helped us get in a brand new house. There was a waiting period, it wasn't their fault. Ashlie and her boss (Matt) stayed on top of the title company and mortgage company plus kept us informed. The delivery crew that brought our home was equally as awesome. We had Juan and his crew here and God bless them. They worked really hard to put our house where we wanted. It took a little time to get it placed, but once it was they worked like a well oiled machine to get our house setup and on blocks. It seemed like any and everything that could go wrong did, to no fault of their own, but they met every obstacle with speed, patience, and efficiency. Also, thank you Mrs. Bobby with setup! The AC company that American Homes Tyler sent to set our AC was fantastic. All around we are very happy. There are some broken pieces of trim and a few things inside we are hoping they come back to fix for us. All in all, if you're going to buy a new home, have some patience. The process can take a while, but the people here are kind, compassionate, and willing to help.

It's was great until I told my wife I sold the house. After that the nightmare begins.. So we decide get a new home. When buying a new home should be a great feeling . Until you buy a home from American homes . It started out great Ashlie is great. It's not her fault. The company hey hired to do the electric stuff was very ignorant and rude , and the manager of American Homes was very rude. I was told the lights would be on and working, well that was lie. The home molding is loose and missing it was joke. We have been living in our new home for a few days because we had to vacate the house we sold. So, we are living with no electricity, ac, or running water. We also have rescue animals living in this. No one wants to take ownership of the problem and fix it. We get told it will be done in a day or so, now we are being told that there is no estimated time for anything. So we are in a trailer, with no electricity, or water, during the hottest summer in recorded history.seem likes no one cares because it does affect them. THEY GOT THERE MONEY YOU DONT EVEN GET A GOLD STARTHANKS

Sales agent originally had appointment with was late. Cursing was a norm with the agent that helped us. Over all, somewhat unprofessional. Finance mgr was very quick to dismiss us and agent quickly followed with cant be done. Went down the street to Tandem Homes and results where complete opposite. This is not 1st time we have had bad experience with this place so shame on us for thinking it would be different.

My experience was horrible treated nice while there lady didn't want to see us say she double booked but Noone ever came but we were seen by a nice guy I told him used home my credit not the best after that Noone contacted us back I messaged several times no answer that's rude there's other places to shop though

I wish I had an option for zero stars but I don't. My daughter purchased a new home from this dealer in September 2021. To this day, they are still not done with the original work from the setup. She is having all kinds of problems with different areas of the home both inside and outside and they will not contact her to schedule to come back out and complete what they started. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are unethical to the point where they will not even respond the BBB complaint she filed on 01/10 despite them boasting an A+ rating. Don't fall for it!

My husband and I recently purchased a home from American Homes in Tyler. Our sales rep Michael Pannitti was an absolute nightmare. The moving company hit our dog with our house. We instantly had a leak that they took over a week to fix. The house has SEVERAL issues that they have been made aware of, yet at 2-3 months setup on the property the 30 day inspection to get damage assessed and fixed still has not happened. Not only that, they refuse to answer or return calls. Missing insulation under the house, messed up carpet, messed up floors, cracks in the walls, oh and multiple cabinet doors in the kitchen with failed hinges. ALL that was pointed out to them initially when buying the house, and being told it would ALL be fixed. There’s currently a cabinet door laying on the kitchen floor. The guy that came out and did the trim out would say “that’s for your 30 day” to everything we asked him about, but funny enough there’s apparently no 30 day that all these people kept mentioning. Avoidance of issues is NOT the way to handle customers.
