Avoid at all costs! They did not complete the job they were hired for, left us with a shipping container blocking the drive, requested money under false pretense, & refuse to give us a partial refund for the uncompleted work. (I will update if they reconsider the refund issue & make that right. Also, I'll be contacting the BBB & hopefully save someone else from these thieves.)We hired Hobbs Transports to move 6 structures (4 shipping containers & 2 sheds). 5 structures were already on the property & 1 was less than a mile away. We were told it would be a one-day job for $1600. There were months of delays for rain plus they broke 3 additional appointments. Finally, taking up a full two days due to Charlie's equipment not working or him not having the right equipment, two of the shipping containers were finally put in place. We paid $800 toward the balance ($400 under the false pretense he would return the second day but instead he left us hanging for 5 hours and left us on the wrong side of a shipping container he dropped blocking our drive). They broke the next appointment scheduled to move the two sheds, are not returning to finish the job, & will not issue us a partial refund for the uncompleted work. They are saying it is not their job when, to the contrary, it is exactly the job we hired (& paid) them to do. And they deny making any mistakes when they made several. They refuse to take any responsibility for leaving us with a 40-foot shipping container dropped on our drive & are quitting the job on us. (More details/photos/screenshots to show proof are available.)(Customers getting their buildings delivered from the manufacturer that contracts with Hobbs Transports seem to fair okay. But unfortunately I am not the only one who has hired them directly myself & been left with uncompleted work that they refuse to provide a refund for.)

Do NOT use this company for any structural moving!!!! Charlie and Laurin Hobbs do not look at the job until you have signed a contract, I found this out WAY too late. I contracted them to move a tiny house 16X29, carport, and front porch. Moving day Charlie called me and said he can't do it. It too tall by 3 inches???? I asked for my money back, he said there is no refund. Even though HE breached the contract not me. I asked him to at least move the carport and porch as a compromise and he agreed. Now instead of moving them as one piece like they were built to do they took a sawzall and skill saw and proceeded to cut it up, break boards, destroy both structures. Picture below is how they left it.3K for this destruction. I continually called to see when he was going to finish disassembling the porch since they cut up the carport and move everything. No answer. NONE. Only after I threatened to get the courts involved did he call me back. 42 days later he called me and said that he is not moving anything unless I give him ANOTHER $2200.00. If you use this company to move anything you are risking having it destroyed or putting out more money to have it done correctly. They are inexperienced, unethical, and a reason to run the other direction when they give you a quote that just says "move house...9K". CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION
