office staff got caught bullying a potential adult patient "he needs his mommy to make an appointment " ...when confronted, Shana, hung up while talking. Unprofessional.

I’ve never had a good experience here, from all the Doctors to Doctor Assistants to PA’s to front desk. I called this morning and got a very dry response about my situation and it just immediately made me sick to my stomach. After 15 years I’ve had enough. Im officially looking for another PCP because I clearly can’t find anyone decent here at Trophy Club Family Medicine.

I've been coming to TCFM for over 5 years. I called in today to make an appointment because I’m sick. I was put on hold for 10 minutes and was told I haven’t been there since December 2021 and they would have to check if the doctor would accept me back. This place has gone downhill, the office phone handlers need to learn to treat their customers better. There wasn’t any sense of sympathy or helpfulness. I’ll be moving on.

Finding a general practitioner that actually cares about your health first is incredibly hard nowadays. THESE PEOPLE COULDN'T CARE LESS. I just moved to the area and needed a checkup over a few things. They proceeded to try and schedule me for 4 different appointments for things that could be all taken care of in a matter of 30min. All they care about here is patient turnover and getting as much money from insurance as possible. I would never recommend having Trophy Club Family Medicine as your doctor! Incredibly disappointed. After talking to multiple offices, I finally found one that really only cares about your well being and while I have to drive almost an hour to get to them, its well worth it. I will never come back to Trophy Club Family Medicine.

I have been coming here since i was 14 and I’ve always had rough experiences. You can tell that your health isn’t really a priority and they just want to move you along and get to the next patient. I recently went because i have been having seizures in my sleep for about a year now and whenever i told them about it, they didn’t take it seriously in the slightest. They told me they weren’t even worried about it and never tried to help or diagnose what it is or could be. They stopped listening as soon as i told them i was having seizures and made me feel crazy for saying it. They have previously diagnosed me with certain things and never did anything to actually help as well. Definitely don’t recommend.

Very professional, and helpful. Dr Yi actually explains everything to you and answers all questions. Lab, and xray on site. I'm impressed

I was shocked to see these reviews on this practice. Trophy Club Family Medicine has been my family's primary care physicians for over 10 years. These health providers are professional, caring, responsive, timely and knowledgeable. I have NEVER had an issue with them. If there was ever a concern, it was handed immediately. Dr. Addy and Dr. Yi have both attended/treated our family (Mother, Father in Law, Daughter, 2 sons, Husband and myself) with knowledge, patience and kindness. I have also referred other family and friends without a second thought!

I'll start with the pros: I love my doctor. I have been going to her for 12 years now. She always makes me feel very comfortable and as if she's taking my symptoms seriously. I also love my nurse practitioner. She always lets me know I can call her line if I have any questions that need immediate attention. Now the cons: front desk personnel could be friendlier. There are several that are very nice and several that are not very kind. However, I have empathy for them having to deal with sick/panicking patients all day. I've been there and I understand. They could all stand for some retraining.

I tried to make a new patient apt. I made the apt months in advance. Called to confirm a week before and it wasn’t in the system. I was told the dr canceled it because according to their system I had no showed previously. When I told her that was impossible due to the fact I’d never been there she said that neither doctor would see me because I had a no show on my record and they were denying me services. She was very polite I want to add. Clearly it is a system error, but who does that? They refused to treat me for something I never did. Or how about even if I had show some compassion since you’re a doctor.Edit: Why would I call the office to discuss the matter when I was already treated like dirt? You have my number because I still get annoying texts since making that call. You can call me.

The front office is very rude . For last three days dr office is trying to send the prescription to walgreen and yet they are not successful. I have made some 15 to 20 calls and messages to both dr office and Walgreen. I went my self to collect the paper prescription copy and the front office has some really rude people sitting in the office who were not ready to help. They keep giving me reasons and arguing with me that they only do electronic prescription and didn’t try at all to obtain a paper prescription. Very rude behavior . Later the dr assistant gave me the paper prescription. The front office staff need to be send on some training so they can do there job better. Worst experience ever.

If I could give negative stars, I might just do that. While my doctor is awesome, the office experience is not. First, I got an appt because I had Covid and needed to see why I wasn’t getting better. I was told I had irregular EKG results, which prompted a referral for an echo at a cardiologist office. I didn’t hear back from anyone for a week about the referral, and when I called to find out the status (since I was nervous about the EKG results and Covid after-effects!). It took another 4 calls back and forth between the cardio office and the primary care office to find out what was up with the referral, me doing all the follow up since both offices said different things. Yes, we sent your referral. No, we didn’t get your referral. Which one is it?? In order to get that taken care of, I had to call and speak to the office manager. That was frustrating enough, but the frustration continued. So I waited for my echo (of course, a few weeks later), and was told I would hear back about the results from both offices. When I left the cardiologist office, I happened to grab a flyer about signing up for eCheck-in. So imagine my surprise when a few days later that week I sign up and see my test results. Of course, I don’t know what they mean and there’s no explanation. Again, it was frustrating that I didn’t hear a word from either office about the results being in or if I should be relieved or worried. So I waited. And waited. Finally (10 days later) I called both offices and left messages for someone to call me back about my lack of test results. I did receive a call back telling me that my test results were normal. Fairly short and curt call. While that was good news, it shouldn’t have required me to call to find that out. The patient care from both offices was lax, lazy, and in my opinion, unacceptable. I’m relieved that my echo came back indicating no issues, but why did I have to again track someone down to tell me/take care of the issue? I still haven’t gotten a call back from the Cardiologist office. So when did it become acceptable to just not let a patient know what was going on? I’ll be looking for doctors with an office that follows through.
