I just wanted to inform you never buy any gift from the Tom Thumb store bcz I purchased two time gift card and it was invalid. Even I didn’t get back my money. Seems like they are doing scam.

I stopped by to pick up my medication today and asked if they could you split the payment between 2 cards? They said yes and took both of my cards. When he came back he said "there was enough on one of the cards, so I only charged that one", I called to speak with the manager regarding this issue, but I had to leave a message for him to call me because he isn't there until Monday. Now I don't have enough in my account to cover one of my bills that will be drafting out. Horrible customer service.

This review is not about our friendly neighborhood store, which I enjoy. This review is about aisle after aisle of shelf stable garbage. I’ve had to shift most of my shopping to sprouts or central market because my family tries to avoid fake food.
Pretty much everything at Tom Thumb contains:
— industrial seed oil
— stabilizers and emulsifiers that are all known carcinogens
— every single petroleum-based food dye in the rainbow
— BHT and every other preservative
Tom Thumb makes no effort in replacing these products that are causing pre-diabetes, cellular inflammation, increased cancer risks, and obesity.
I implore you to start changing out your stock. PLEASE. Otherwise, all we can buy are just trash bags, toilet paper, cat litter, etc, because we can’t eat the food you sell.

Very nice store. Very neat. But really surprised at how limited the produce section is for a store of this size. Pretty disappointing.

My wife and I enjoy shopping at this Tom Thumb. It is clean, well stocked, and employees are friendly - usually.
Last Sunday, we rushed from church to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy. Arrived at exactly 5:00pm. The chunky male employee with an unkempt beard and glasses rudely said "we are closing". After some persuasion, he grabbed her prescription, stuffed it in a bag, tossed it on the counter toward her, then walked away. When she asked about getting her credit card back, he shouted over his shoulder "it's in the bag" then disappeared into the back.
Now maybe he had a bad day, but really? I will say his appearance and attitude are different than other employees at this store. Not a good fit nor front for customers.
