I used to come here for a simple print job / ship something. From reading reviews who I now know is the owner was working. Which makes sense because the level of customer service wouldn’t be acceptable by anyone , unless of course , they are the owner. I had quite literally the most simple print job that needed to be done. I emailed the 1-2pages that needed printing ; customer getting 7 + pages of specific notary GAVE DIRECTION to the owner to please assist me as he knew he had a long time in store. The owner gave me an unpleasant welcome and commented I “ didn’t have a package” I said I needed to print something and proceeded to entirely too politely wait as he said that would “ take time” ; I had no other place to go as I would have left immediately because he was absolutely dismissing, less than friendly, condescending, and either misogynistic or just loves power - not sure - either way deeply unpleasant. Once the man in front of me INSISTED he help me as he had to double the pages he needed - THEN and ONLY ONCE HE TOLD YOU YOU MUST- did you THEN bother to even take one second ( multi tasking- any good manager and owner knows how - the issues finding employees I feel is in a direct correlation to how you treat people and your general demeanor and lack of kindness ) ; when my printed paper and tossed in gum purchase to hit a presumed minimum purchase - didn’t want to even have to have that conversation so just added SOMETHING while I waited 10-15 minutes on the way to a super important appointment. Thanks for your absolute lack of appreciation for your clients and their time. You really nailed it, sir! 1 minute or less and you acted like you had to sacrifice something to do that. I’ll never return. Also? The photos of people who wronged you posted everywhere with no explanation as to what happened ? Owner seems deeply unhappy with his job.

I had such a nice experience last week when I shipped some very treasured items to another state. These items have been in our family a long time and mean a lot to us. David was so polite and took a lot of time to make sure the items were wrapped, protected, and shipped correctly to ensure they arrived at their destination without any damages. The family member that received them was very impressed on how well the items were protected and how carefully and intentionally they were wrapped and shipped. I will use The Ship Shop for future mailings and would recommend the Ship Shop for any of your shipping needs. Thankful to have this business in our community.

My husband and I both made this our new primary shipping/drop off point around a year ago after experiencing a ton of issues and delays at a different store. The convenience to our house couldn’t be beat, and the ease of drop offs is great. I love that you actually get a receipt so that you can provide that to the recipient if needed. Neither of us have seen the owner, David, or any of his staff anything but kind and respectful to any customers however we can’t say we have seen the same respect returned. It’s wild how many people attack the little guy when they simply don’t hear the answer they want. Reality check- small store owners are not ups/usps. Kindness goes further than you think- just be kind. David has always been great to us and we will continue to use his services so long as we’re in the area. Very excited to have learned about some other services he offers like helium for balloons! So much more convenient then buying a helium tank or driving 30 minutes with a car full of balloons!

My husband and I both switched this to being our primary shipping point about a year or so ago after experiencing a TON of issues and delays with the last place we used in TC. The location is convenient, as are the business hours, and we have yet to experience a shipping issue. Neither one of us have ever seen the owner, David, or any of the other workers, with anything but respect. I've watched too many people fail to return the favor unfortunately. I do feel anyone dealing with deliveries in any manor tend to get the short end of the stick when people don't hear what they want. We will continue to use this location so long as we are in the area. Thanks David!

They are amazing!! There were two girls in the shop, and both of them are extremely friendly! I made an appointment for fingerprints last night, then I did my fingerprints and dropped a package within mins today. Very convenient and easy to work with!

I came in for my i9 verification and the owner and the associates went above and beyond their capabilities to sort my i9 situation as I was in a unique situation.I had a 1 pm appointment and my documents were scanned. I called up fieldprint to verify if the documents went through. My i9 verification was denied and everyone in this location took time from their busy schedule to talk to the fieldprint people to understand how they can process with my case.I highly recommended this location for anyone wanting to get their i9 verification done.If you’re a book lover, there is a bonus for you. There is a small used books section at the shop and you can buy them ??All in all, I want to extend my deepest gratitude towards everyone in this location for going above and beyond their way to help me and my situation.

Had a pleasant experience here and they helped me ship a DHL package that is seemingly impossible to ship. These guys were lifesavers and acted very professional with me. The comments toward this location do confuse me so just give them a chance!

Don’t use this place unless you want to see an unhappy old codger act like a child, when it’s time to make something right.Should’ve listened to my wife when she warned me about this place. Sign on the door says “We ❤️ our customers”. Should say, “We treat our customers like ?”Just shipped from this place for the last time… David S, the Grinch that runs this place, just had a little tantrum in front of other customers… He is a grouchy old man that needs to go to “ship store charm school”. He Needs a lesson in customer service and couldn’t run a Burger King.I will say that the young man that works there was very pleasant and polite… I feel sorry for the guy, having to work for Ebenezer Scrooge himself.

Rather unpleasant guy in charge, confusing process taking care of people when it really should be simple first come first serve, and watched multiple people with a simple drop off of a package turn into waiting 15 min to get a receipt. Spent 10 minutes helping them enter my info and the destination address, felt like I had to speak slowly 1 letter at a time. Was told this was the place to go but that was probably my one and only experience at this place. Really disappointing for a local shop. I’ll spend the time to go elsewhere and give someone else a shot at my business.

Supporting this local business very personalized service it may take some time because they are a small and they don't have a lot of workers but they make sure that you are well taken care of and your packages are safe. Highly recommend and I'm not from this area but will definitely come back here.

Terrible customer service and inept staff. Brought in my passport and documents to be sent. It was charged wrong by the shop and instead of calling me to have me come by and pay the proper amount they “took their chances” and sent it off. It was returned to me two days later. Went by the shop and no apology at all for their mistake. Go to another shop if you have time sensitive documents to send.
