Scott was extremely helpful helping us purchase a generator and picking out the one that will fit our needs for future power outages. Thank you Scott!

On 8 July 2024 at approximately 356 pm I came to this location for a gas can due to hurricane damage and so I could refuel my generator during this difficult time. Jacob helped me out and I was checked out by Ashlynn.
At approximately 6pm I elected to purchase another one for a neighbors. I called and spoke to a female later identified as Ashlynn who advised me over the telephone they had none. I decided to verify that in person. I entered store at approximately 615 pm and was greeted by Ashlynn and male by the name of Scott; later identified as manager. I observed several gas cans on floor at front register. I asked to purchase one and Scott replied those are for other customers. He then looked at me in an aggressive manner fueled with frustration. I advised him I had just called prior to my arrival and was informed they had none by a female. He stated you must have called this morning; I informed him it was approximately 30 min ago. Not believing me I asked “you don’t trust me” and said you want to see what time it was and he said “ yea!!!!” I showed him my cellphone which was date and time stamped with their number. He then informed another employee by the name of Jacob to go to the back and get me one. I felt very disrespected in front of other customers on his condescending and belittling mannerisms towards me. This is totally wrong to be treated this way by a manager who certainly needs some retraining in customer services especially during a time of a disaster when emotions are certainly running rapidly for relief. I took Scott to the side at which time he acted in this manner because he wanted Ashlynn to hear that I had called and she said they had no gas cans for sale. This still did not make it right on how he acted towards me in front of other customers. I don’t expect this type of treatment in a small country town. As a disabled veteran we are taught to set the stage with Dignity and respect thru professionalism and you can’t go wrong. Maybe Scott should learn that same motto

Worst customer experience, they had a weedeater online for sale for 74.99 and said was only at tomball store . I placed order online sale went through got confirmation, second got email saying was pulled and ready to be picked up that was yesterday. And today got email said dont forget to pickup your order. So I went to pickup today and when I get there they said order was canceled then the found it. They still told me they dint have it. Sarah was so rude yesterday when I spoke to her on phone. Then today I still got that same poor experience from her today. They ended up giving me a lesser quality one not made in America than the American made we paid for yesterday

Nice store and a very convenient location. Everything you could need is here. Feed, clothing, boots, plumbing supplies, hardware, etc…. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly. Theresa on the register was very helpful. Keep up the great work Tractor Supply!

Making customers wait 20 minutes for propane, then sending an employee with an attitude for being asked to help a customer purchase an item you carry is not a good way to do business.

Two stars because I loved tractor supply UNTIL they sold me a truck bed tool box that leaks unbeknownst to me.First day got it loaded up with multiple different power tools and batteries. That evening it rained not a crazy amount normal Texas May rain fall. Following morning loading up my truck for work opened the lid to all my tools floating in water. After speaking with the manager, they said I could bring it in and get a return and they would possibly try to help me replace some of what was lost. But when I went in they did not honor the word so I got the money back for the “tool box” and out more than $500 in tool and batteries. They should know the company policy and not offer something and not honor it. Corporate need to do something about the management at this location read the reviews the customer service and manager

Don't order large items online if they are being delivered through XPO Logistics. Terrible service.

I prefer Tractor Supply over some other stores. This location in particular needs to adhere to the order process. I ordered online an item for pickup here, and without making it by to pickup the item, I received a notice that I had picked it up, thereby releasing the charge on my card. Thinking that someone else had picked up my order, I contacted the store. The lady on the phone said that they completed the order in the system because they assumed that I had picked it up. Assumed I had picked it up. There's got to be a better process than that.
Edit: Refund came through just fine.

What a wonderful change in the norm. You spend all your time at Home Depot’s, Walmarts, Petco, and other store; where customer service is (for lack of better terms) nonexistent.
Now let’s talk Tractor Supply Company location in Tomball. The very first thing, when you walk in the door, is being greeted like it’s a Buc-ees. It doesn’t stop there. Experience a store where the employees actually know whet and what stuff is. Simply amazing.
But the best part about this store is that it is the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. From Sarah at the front register, who was the most pleasant person I have dealt with, to Sam (the manager) that help with an error and took great care of us, to Jessie, who went the extra mile to locate what they thought was not in stock.
If this place has the stuff you’re looking for, I would suggest to not even consider going anywhere else. Even if it save you money, the quality of customer service is well worth forgoing that little bit of saving to support a customer service oriented business. They have definitely earned my customer loyalty.

My favourite peaceful pet supply store. Staff is friendly and the cashier with pretty headscarf is so sweet and kind. We talked about our dogs. She has a Jack Russell Terrier and I was telling her about my Bernedoodle who is 2 years old and weighs 100 lbs and when he stands up he towers over me and I am 5'3. We laughed and I hope to see her and everyone again in a few months. Since his dog food lasts him about 3 months.

Drove 25 miles to get two items. They were out of BOTH. Empty shelves everywhere with multiple customers complaining about the same thing. Not enough employees they are all practically running, had multiple customers waiting for help. Utter chaos. The employees were all friendly I will say. I feel bad for them. Poorly run store. This is my third trip here in two years with the same result so I’m done, won’t be back.
