“About two years ago, I moved all of my prescriptions from CVS to Walmart pharmacy on Silber Road and Houston Texas. Hader the pharmacy manager learned my name and face the second week that I came in. Every time he sees me he greets me with hello Mr. Ogg. He and his staff go above and beyond to make sure that every patient understands the medication that they are taking. On several occasions he has helped me out by giving me a couple of pills to tied me over until the doctor renewed my refill. I've had pharmacist do that for me before but he is the first one who's ever asked me if I would like a couple of days supply. As a former Walmart associate/assistant manager/store manager (1981- 1988) I long for the old days when Mr. Walton set a high standard for customer service and personal hygiene. These days Walmart employees take no pride in their appearance or in their customer service skills but that does not hold true the pharmacy in the store. He and his staff very much resemble the Walmart of old.”

“6.27.23This review is for the fuel area only. I only stopped here to purchase gasoline. So I can not review the HEB Grocery store. It was rush hour time when I stopped at this location for gas. There was quite a few pumps that were vacant. And a few had the dreaded "out of order" covers on them. Gas was $3.09.(sadly) I miss the dollar and something days. (And we thought that was high!!) I will stop here again when I'm in the area.”
