It's a shame when good stores go bad.We started going to H-E-B Creekside in 2015 after moving from The Woodlands. While living in The Woodlands, H-E-B Woodlands Market St was our regular store. So, I have a pretty good basis for the opinion I'm about to express.H-E-B Creekside has turned into a tragic mess. From the inconsistent meat and fish counters, to the consistently messy and on-the-edge of rotting produce, to the vast amount of empty shelf space, the decay of this market as an "H-E-B" since the pandemic has been startling. And this does not even begin to cover the small details that make this market a shadow of what it used to be, let alone many levels below other H-E-B stores in the area.- Checkout lanes are frequently understaffed, and baggers are generally not good at proper bagging.- Workers are frequently standing around talking to each other in groups.- Self-checkout lanes are inefficient. Anti-fraud measures make them slower than what Target and Kroger provide.- Personal/curbside shoppers and stockers block the aisles during peak shopping hours.- Meat quality is inconsistent sourced and the cuts are also wildly inconsistent. For me, H-E-B is THE big box store source for prime meat, which is still very much the case at H-E-B Woodlands.- A HUGE proportion of brand name products have been removed, or are in the process of being removed, in preference for cheaper brands, largely H-E-B or other labels that simply do not have the quality of those products being replaced.I'm not sure this is the case, but it feels like the store management has studied the demographics and shopping habits of the Creekside population and determined that they can run a lower cost operation, figuring that no one would notice or care. Quite honestly, an insult to the H-E-B brand, and the residents who have become accustomed to the higher quality expectation. As a consumer with a choice, I have chosen to drive the extra 10 minutes to Whole Foods or H-E-B Woodlands to shop at stores that care about putting out a quality product.

Why is someone trying to convince me to switch my electricity provider when I'm leaving with a cart full of frozen food and it's 106°F outside. Let me go I'm clearly trying to walk away lol, the potential savings you're offering me are fixing to be lost in the cost of this melting ice cream!Poor QC on seafood sometimes, but maybe the "sometimes" is because it's a supplier issueNice HEB/employees in all departments otherwise though. Good variety.

I love all H‑E‑B but this will get a 1 for me today, as I am making my purchases today I see a sale for the essentials water but as I got to the register it double in price, deceiving marketing’s should be illegal, bad customer service as I pointed it to the manager and she said there was nothing she can do to give me the sales price as was market in the picture. One bad customer service can ruin a business, if you are not ready to sale the item do not merchandise it on the floor with a sign. Horrible customer service by deceiving customers. I will not purchase anything at this location again.

I used their delivery service so my food is picked out from a employee. They gave me two packges of ground beef that was to expire the next day. I ordered my delivery for Sunday 8/20 for 6 pm. The expiration date is 8/21. I planned to cook it today 8/22. Now I have two packges of sour brown / grey meat that I had throw out. I want my money back or exchange.

Please stop the partnership with reliant to try to sell me electric plans every time I enter or exit this H‑E‑B. It is a turn off and if it continues, I will start shopping at a different grocery store that doesn’t harass me at the door

Clean, organized, nice staff, has everything you could possibly be looking for in a supermarket. Our first time in this particular location so we didn’t quite know what to expect. They have a wonderful international isle where we found a few things we couldn’t live without ;) We prefer HEB in general but this is the best one we have been to yet. We will definitely be back.

How did Kroger and Walmart beat you to Apple Pay? Get it together H‑E‑B; your greed around not allowing Apple Pay lost you a $200 grocery order to a competitor today and I bet it loses a heck of a lot more than that every day
