Refused to cash a check due to my driver's license being bent and would not accept any other form of identification despite the fact that the details and photo on my license is perfectly legible. Took 15 minutes for them to decide not to help me with no other customers in the building.

No drive-through lanes were open on March 24 at 3:45 PM. It’s not a holiday, right? This is the second Wells Fargo I’ve gone to on a non-holiday before 4 o’clock, and the drive-through lanes are closed. What is going on with Wells Fargo banks? We’ve been banking with Wells Fargo since the 1980s I’m starting to think it’s time for a change.

Was told I didn’t need an appointment to make a basic wire transfer. Went into the branch at 10am, was told no bankers were available to make a wire transfer until after 3pm. What is the point of even having a branch location with lack of service such as this? One banker at the branch? Starting to think it’s time to change banks from Wells Fargo to another local bank. This isn’t the first time I’ve had terrible customer service at this location. I was then sent to another branch down the street to complete this task. Was told it would be a few minutes from the teller, 40 minutes later still no service. I asked her how much longer and she said probably 30 more minutes. My idea of “it’s only going to be a few minutes they’ll come out and get you” isn’t 70 minute wait. Sent me to a third local WF branch which only took 10 minutes to handle the task.

Be weary when dealing with this bank ...The Life Event team .. not very helpful...continue to stall the process...Nothing good to say... just be careful dealing with this bank

This was the branch I started with when I moved to The Woodlands in 2004, they were nice, friendly & professional. As the years went on we developed a nice relationship & often said hello to a familiar name/face.Recently within the last 2 years this branch has downsized and changed policies that other Wells Fargo seem to be not be aware of.Such as no deposit of checks from Canada without conversion irregardless of it's written on the check USD. It must be printed on the check...where did this policy come from? Then no more medallion signature service with no explanations.And finally, no replacement for torn/ripped currency.They just hand you a piece of paper and say contact DC & good luck. Well I went to a different branch and was able to exchange with no issues.For all WF customers, stop using this branch.The branch at sterling ridge and magnolia 1488 are much better and genuinely want to help as your banking service. This branch is only good for ATM, deposit/withdrawals. And with that location being the same approximately the same distance with the other two...I highly recommend go to the branch that cares about your patronage.BTW, I have been a WF customer since 1988.

Update: this bank didn't like what I had to say so they requested my review to be hidden from public view. I fixed the questionable choice word to make it friendly so they can't do that again.Bank manager was hesitant to open on time. Tellers were not ready, and left several people waiting for over 15 min. Terrible. "Technical difficulties"?!?!? More like user error, new hire teller, and absent mindedness. Several people walked out. Very dissapointing.

The customer experience at this Wells Fargo location is excellent. Catherine and Ramona went above and beyond to help me set up my account and made me feel understood and truly valued. Highly recommend using this Wells Fargo location for personal and business checking.
