I had no issue with the price. And, the service was alright, not so great because I felt as if I was being rushed. So much so that the vet technician that was supposed to listen and understand my concerns about my cat didn't suggest any tests to be done on my cat. I took my cat in because her temperature was running high. She didn't even give me a chance to think about all services I wanted my cat to receive. After the wellness exam and administration of annual vaccines, the doctor came in and said my cat was "perfectly healthy". The doctor never suggested any tests even after I told I was worried my cat had a fever because of high temperature. That was ok May 18th. Now (one week later, May 25th) I'm going to ANOTHER vet/hospital to get my cat seen AGAIN because her appetite is now affected by whatever is going on. Maybe they should put a sign on their door if they don't want people LIKE ME in their clinic because I see no other reason for them to be in such a rush to get me out. All to the detriment of my cat's health!During the wellness exam at the other vet/ hospital, the doctor discovered right away that my cat was experiencing abdominal pain/stomach discomfort. She did a series of test, X-rays,etc. And, she discovered my cat had pancreatitis upon some other things going on around her intestines. This was discovered because they took their time to do their job correctly. $2300 later, my cat is getting better with pain meds, nausea meds, and supplements to get her digestive system back in tact.

They try to coerce you and upsell you on prescriptions your pet doesn’t actually need, and then shame you for refusing them.I brought my dog in for an ear infection, and they tried their hardest to convince me my dog needs, Apoquel, an immune suppressant known for increasing the likelihood of future infections. Then the vet suddenly found a “skin infection” and wanted to prescribe him more antibiotics after I refused the Apoquel. When I asked the vet to show me the skin infection, she got extremely defensive, and declared that she’s been trained for four years. She wasn’t able to show me the skin infection adequately despite all her training. The secretary and vet assistant were lovely and the only reason I’m not giving this one star.

The vet tech, vet, and receptionist were all super sweet and very helpful and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and trusting that they knew what they were doing. I would 100% go back!

I've had very bad service with this location since the merge from thrive to VETCO. Sarah at the office was not very helpful, contradicted everything she said. I get different answers from different technician's everytime I call, with an issue I've been dealing with for the past 2 weeks which is very unacceptable when my pet has been with this clinic for 3 years, I do not plan on coming back to this location.

My timid, sweet little 5lb Sophie was attacked by an aggressive dog, that has attacked other dogs and the 90+ YO owner can't handle it and doesn't care about anyone, but herself. With that said, it happened on a Saturday night as all vets were closed or closing, leaving only a very expensive emergency hospital that was simply not an option. We searched for places with the soonest opening time and found this Vetco, 40 minutes away, OPEN ON SUNDAY!!! We booked an appointment online for Sunday morning and showed up with little injured Sophie. From the front desk to the technicians to the vet, everyone was polite, friendly, informative, calming and professional. They didn't take advantage of our situation to pad their pockets. They took care of cleaning Sophie's 4 puncture wounds, 2 superficial lower rib cage, 2 serious on her back and providing a very affordable treatment plan. I was vulnerable at the time, the whole experience for me was traumatic, they could have taken advantage and sold me a bridge to nowhere, they didn't! They did the right thing; they did what was medically necessary to help my Sophie through such an awful experience. They did it professionally and with empathy. I truly appreciate them and highly recommend them to every pet owner out there. Fantastic business model other business owners could learn from. Moving forward, we will make the drive.

I took my dog for an ear cleaning and they told me that they couldn't treat him because they didn't have vosal so they told me to leave and I leave and I decide to take my dog to have his nails cut right there in the petco and he behaved very well and they didn't need vosal, definitely the people at vetco total care don't know how to deal with dogs. and he also had the free exam and they couldn't even do it

Everyone here was so nice and friendly to myself and my dog while taking him in for some issues he was having with his eye. Their prices are also affordable compared to other places I’ve been to. One of the things I appreciated most was they let me know how much everything was going to cost ahead and of time and any time they were going to do something, they told me how much it was and asked if that was ok or not! Every other place I’ve been to, it’s an expensive surprise at the end, so I love that there were no surprises with them! The location inside Petco meant it was easy to grab a toy or treat at the end of the visit as well - win win!

Nothing "low cost" or efficient about this location. Over $600 for standard vaccines for two dogs and they kept us waiting in the exam room for nearly an hour before taking our dogs for their shots. Also, when I commented on the high cost, the vet tech said "you can go somewhere else next time". Actually, that is some good advice.

Please don’t go here. I’ve been twice with two different cats and both times they have not been helpful. They failed to catch intestinal worms and suggested we prescribe antibiotics (?) for no reason at all. Also the vet said there’s nothing they can do for arthritis and just printed out a website for cat arthritis management. Please just go to a real vet office, it’s just as expensive and they can give you real information/help/medications.

If you live in Spring/Woodlands two of their sell points is Yourpetsvet being located right next to the store and free check ins. I bought my dog a year ago, they said it would be open soon. It still is not and no plans of opening. Other closest your pets is in Bellaire. And the free check in is only once. Something to keep in mind before you buy through them.
