Horrible customer service. People at this location are rude and did not want to fix their own mistake.

The Kroger@Alden bridge on research is the worst with incompetent people at the self check out and register.Linda, the worst with customer service, she is resistance to change anything that is eithier a weekly deals and clipped and ring up at wrong price.Linda literally want you to just not buy the item by making you wait 10- 15min for a manager to change the price that is literally Kroger price at the particular time. This occured yesterday 08/30/23@6pm after coming home from working. I went to the 1 cashier that they Kroger had working and he had an attitude and told me " she is only 1 person". I was so frustrated with both. Manager showed 10min later after Linda called saying " customer need help at self check out" which was very confusing to me as a customer; why couldn't she do it.She then asked me for my phone because she wanted to verified I clipped the apple juice that was to be $1.49 vs $2.49. I was so upset but would not leave bc she did this to me before when register had issues with price at self check out and I did not buy my groceries then. She is lazy and need to learn her job bc the manager even said " didn't we tell you, if this occur, to give the customer the clipped price". She was so resistant and that cashier was rude. Never again will I go there, who hired these people. Is this where our society is going, hiring passive aggressive nasty, lazy and incompetent individuals.

This is the most depressed grocery store ever. I'm not even sure the workers are human. It could be Superbowl Sunday and they'd still only have one lane open. We stopped going to Kroger over a decade ago because of the quality of anything kept in a cooler. I still do not understand why people shop at Kroger. (HEB is no more expensive. I was a shopper there for 15 months so I know.)

I’ve done a few curbside orders successfully but today I had missing items. To get it resolved, it took me 15 minutes of waiting on the phone, getting disconnected, and even talking to a manager briefly just to be put on hold again. Luckily I used the chat agent and got a refund for the missing items within a few minutes.

Just went to courtesy booth after self check out to break a $10 bill for singles so I can put in Easter eggs for grandchildren. A young mindless employee would not give me singles. Absolutely mindless. He stated it messes up the count. LOL. I just reviewed all of the complaints. Wow. A lot and Kroger does not respond. Bad business decisions.

5 out of 7 kroger pickups cancelled. probably the other two will be as well. Joke of a company. Funny thing is I get ads for pickup everyday, but they can't fulfill them. Learn how to do inventory other stores do it just fine!

The Kroger at 8000 Research Forest is terrible. Heard on the radio - fresher than fresh produce commercial with 27 inspection checks. i bought peaches on sale three weeks ago - all rotten on inside! Wilted, old, moldy produce weekly. This week Nature's Own Hawaiian Bread on BOGO - none in stock for the whole week. This store was better years back when Kroger CEO's wife shopped here! Since he retired, down hill. Wish Randall's hadn't dumped and run on Woodlands. Both Kroger and HEB have raised pricing and lowered quality and service. Terrible!

This is the absolute worst store I've ever been to in my life. The customer service and the workers attitude are sour and make you feel unwelcome and as if your questions or mere presence aggravates them. I bought some berries and didn't realize where bad, came back the same day to return them at a different location than where I had previously made the purchase from and was turned away because the code was from a different store. I drove 20 minutes to the original and because I didn't have my receipt (which I threw away because I didn't want to return anything in the first place) they didn't wanted to return them because they where opened (all berries come in a plastic containers that opens and closes easily). It is Impossible to rationalize with these people. Seems as if they intentionally hire from the bottom of the pool of applicants, or maybe they train them to be the absolute worst. I've worked retail all my life, I know they simply didn't want to do it because this is an issue easily fixed and doable at pretty much any grocery you can go to nowadays. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Quaint and accessible. The pharmacy is always kind and helpful. We have found more of the organic and gluten free products we need here vs. H‑E‑B. Thankful to have this grocery store so close.

Pure incompetence. This Kroger used to be amazing and feel like a hometown pharmacy. This is no longer that. They continued 3 months in a row forgot to order my medicine for refills. I had to call 3 times for each refill to remind them to order my medicine. Save yourself from anxiety and headaches and DO NOT GO HERE.

Advised store staff and management several times, still with the same expired product on shelves after weeks. This store is a shame for the Kroger brand.Updated on 12/09/2022. Believe it or not, the same products are still on shelves, three months expired, even after communicating with staff several times…
