I'm happy to have a choice on Sunday! However, no one was at the front desk when I arrived, and no one greeted me when I walked back to the salon. It was all good once the front desk person returned, and I got in for a walk-in appointment.

I have been searching for someone for a while to trust to do my hair. All I wanted was a basic cut in which I made my appointment for. I felt really good walking in and thought I had finally found the place for me.I was greeted by what I think was the receptionist in which she was really sweet and let Earlie know that I had made for my appointment. After speaking with Earlie to let her know what I wanted she made so many recommendations. Of course I was a little pressed for time so signing up for what I thought would be a 30 minute service only to have her tell me it would be longer, I was cool with. She began being on her phone completely ignoring the fact that I did say that I would go ahead and receive the service as to not waste her time, she replies "you are not wasting my time, I have other things I could be doing."Well I left Ms. Earlie to do the things that she thought was better than servicing a new client. My thought is, if there is other things that you could be doing, why have open appointment slots for people to book if you are too busy to service clients? This was very unprofessional and I am so glad that I proceeded to leave instead of staying as she would have probably jacked me all the way. Do not book Earlie. Hopefully other stylists are not like this however I will never know as I will not return just because of this one worker.

Booked a consultation with the front desk and showed up to be told I had no appointment booked. No offer to even make things better. I left work and wasted my whole lunch. What a waste of time. Won't come back and clearly they don't care. I see no responses on the previous reviews.

Very pleasant experience, Covid-era friendly. Clients are well spaced out too avoid overcrowding even though the salon can easily handle a small crowd. Very good prices for professional services. Elaine is amazing!

Possibly the worst haircut I have ever had. I have very long hair with some layers. The girl only trimmed the ends of my hair and nothing else. I now have to make an appointment somewhere else. Charged me for a blow dry although she didnt fully dry/style my hair. She only blow dryed it to help her "make sure it was even" very frustrating.

Such a waste of money!!! First off the girl slapped a relaxer on my head and then pulled my hair which irritated my scalp. I told her my scalp was sensitive. So my scalp ends up burning and she has the nerve to tell me to sit 10 minutes and looked crazy when I said she needed to wash my hair. She put something in my hair and left me in the washing bowl and had 2 different people wash my hair. She didn't even dry or style my hair and charged me $65 when she didn't do anything. Then she had someone call me to justify the price, but didn't offer a discount or anything to make things better. I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars.

Not to be confused with JT Penny which is owned by Justin Timberlake, and where everything costs 1 cent. The hair salon inside JCPenney is pretty cool and all the credentials that you need are just to walk by it when it's busy and you'll see all the sexy hair being done - mostly for women of course. They're definitely kind of talented here. I guess department store stuff wasn't quite delivering the kind of business they needed so they added a hair salon because who doesn't want their hair did. Barbie said the dos were so impressive, that she's coming here to have her hair did one of these days.
