I must express in a very personal way and based on personal experiences from other academies in other countries, that the owner and coaches of this club are committed to sport, excellence and something super important focused on 100% of that first education that is the fundamental base of soccer. This club is magnificent, its phenomenal atmosphere. My son went there and it was great. To the couch, thank you very much for everything and for so much. Forever Interwoodland

I am so very grateful for InterWoodlands FC for welcoming my teen beginner daughter with such a supportive and positive environment. My 14-year-old daughter had been going through a lot of emotional turmoil during this difficult adolescent time especially since COVID. She hated everything and everyone, and was getting into trouble at school. I strongly felt she needed to do some sort of activity, especially after all her activities got canceled/Zoom during COVID. The only extra-curricular she agreed to do was soccer, even if she had never done it before. I was worried she would complain about it, being older but in a beginner level group, but I was pleasantly surprised that she enjoyed it after the first trial. Coach Leo and all the other coaches have been absolutely wonderful in supporting and encouraging her, teaching her new skills, never judging her, just focusing on the enjoyment and excitement of the sport. My daughter has made great friends on the team as well, and is now so much happier, emotionally more stable, and physically stronger. She absolutely loves playing soccer here, and we will be back next season. Coach Leo has also always been very responsive and supportive to any questions or concerns I had. I can’t thank InterWoodlands FC enough!

I started with my older son and liked the program so much we signed my younger one up as well. Inter Woodlands offers 4-levels of competitiveness, so as developing players, they can opt for something with less pressure and be free to love the sport (that is the point, right?). This means we've managed to be a 2-sport family year round, and not force the boys to have to choose just one at a young age for fear of being kicked out. Lastly, even at the least competitive level, there are still professional coaches, which makes it a superior alternative to the rec leagues.The only thing we are missing here in TX is a club that offers specialized classes throughout the year for players who may want to maintain some skills, but perhaps can only give 1d/wk during either the spring/fall/winter. I can see this as a need when my kids are older and continue to want to play multiple sports (and no, i9 doesn't make the cut). I'm guessing lack of field/facility space is probably why no one offers this in the area vs where we moved from, but maybe someone from IWFC will read this and consider. =)

This is the second season that my daughter has practiced here, and we are having a pleasant and highly recommended experience.Leo is a caring coach and manager, who is very responsive to my emails and questions.My daughter feels very special in this group and has grown tremendously.I am very impressed with how much she likes coming to practice and how much she advance in this group.They are a hardworking team and even though there was a weather cancellation, they added an extra practice a week to ensure that the kids have as much practice time as possible.I invite you to join us!I promise your kids will have fun and improve their soccer skills.
