Whilst I love the decor and selection in this store. Also a great location, just minutes from my home. It's unfortunate how horrible the staff are to customers. I asked the manager if she could help me find an item. She gave me a pissed off look and was the most unfriendly person and upset that she had to actually help me. I explained that I had come for that specific item. She gave me little help and ended up handing me something not even what I asked for. And basically blew me off telling me if I wanted the item I could go look in that direction. I went to said location and there was nothing. Then even with a full to the top cart I noticed one of the staff conveniently sorting items on every isle I walked down. Disturbing seriously. These people choose not to invest in real security so they send their staff to stalk customers up and down every inch of the store. If this is how paying customers are treated I'd hate to imagine how they would treat a window shopper. I decided while the items I wanted were cute they were not cute enough to give this place my money. So I went and filled my cart at a different store and will continue to do so. They have lost my business. Yucky customer service

Of course pricea are up but what I wish is for better shelf labeling and perhaps the selections less scattered about with the food products. It was clean, the cashier was pleasant, it was just difficult to find what I wanted. It is not set up for a quick shop but more a leisurely stroll. Next time need more... time.

As the name indicates, you will find things from around world. Groceries are around the world, but the furniture and home goods are mostly Indian origin. They have unique things and well priced. Every season they restock and it’s fun to shop here.

So I wanted to give a shout out to Alma a cashier who works at World Market in the Woodlands, TX. I showed up at opening looking for a hard to find ingredient black currant preserve for a family recipe. They were out. So I asked her if there was any possible way if there was any in the back or in a box somewhere. She checked for me with a smile on her face and didn't treat me like a nuisance and quickly came back with what I was looking for. In a day and age where I usually recieve little to bad customer service she was a star. Thank you for making my day!

I love the store but I had a terrible experience with the store manager. I asked a question and she ignore me completely. I know the store in other states and was always happy. Unfortunately I don’t recommend this location at all. Also pretty empty and the food session lack for accurate expertise.

This location is going AGAINST CORPORTATE RULES. I want a business card discount (I have a business and everything they are asking for as proof). I find it extremely invasive to ask details of your license when I have clear proof and the requirements it states on the corporate website. The managers are acting as if they own the store and as if that measly 20% will change our lives. Please follow corporate directions. I will be calling headquarters as well

I absolutely love their international selection of their market. Their selection of wines is terrible and absent. Who wants a grocery store wine selection at a specialty market?

First and last time will go to this location, or shop at World Market for that matter. The employees have zero care about customer satisfaction or customer service making for an unpleasant shopping trip. One of the pillow racks displays had a sign smack in the middle of it that said "30 percent off select throw pillows" I took one pillow and some other food items to the register to check out. When I got to the car I realized pillow rang up full price. I went back in with my two children and explained it was supposed to be 30% off and then lady snarkily says if it was on sale it would have rang up right and proceeds to walk away. Another lady at the register looks bewildered and has me walk her over to the sign, she looks at it says "see these two tiny images of specific pillows, it's these two only." Mind you, these two specific pillow types weren't on that rack at all. She asks if I'd like to do return, which I did. No care to admit the false advertising or that the sign is in a misleading location. I guess they'd rather lose customers than honor the sale price. I'll spend my money elsewhere. ?

I shopped here before Christmas. The store looked like it had been ravaged by all of Houston & there was not much left to choose from. Signage for what Christmas items were on sale was confusing. Most Christmas items were on sale, just not the items I bought.

December 24th 2023 and I was discriminated there. I am no woke whatsoever and couldn’t be more against any form of victimization, but I believe everyone should be aware.Looking for a gift at the last minute and decided to go there. I have lived in the woodlands 15+ years and that is like the last store I would go, but I was coming out of BestBuy and it was convenient.I decided to grab some wood kitchen utensils and a bottle of wine. While waiting in line to check out I noticed that all personnel was female and even thought there were only 3 people in front of me, the line did not move for 25 minutes. Apparently one of the older ladies was not properly trained and was battling with the POS and her disregard for the other clients was such that not even an apology was given.Lucky for me there was a nice lady in front of me with her 28 year old son and the chatting helped to mitigate the horrible service. After the obvious and uncomfortable situation there, another employee decided to open another register. I did not pay attention to her name butshe was a big, white and overweight young woman with 0 empathy for customers. I do not know if they pulled her out of her other duties but she was in no capacity to deal with customers. When my turn came she asks, cash or card? no greeting whatsoever or any form of acknowledgement of the situation. I said card, and she looked at me and says, we will need an ID. Even though the customers in front of me paid with card as well they were never asked for one.I do not know if it was because I am Latino, or because I am fit or because I was a man. I told her my wallet is in my car but I could pay with Apple pay, as I did with the other 50 gifts I bought everywhere else where everyone knows that Apple pay might be the safest e payment option there is. I said I could go to the car and get it, and she said. “ Do whatever you need to do, we will not sell without an id.”I just left the store and said nothing, until now.
