7-04-24 - Oil Change
Good experience at CBs. Got an oil change. They’re a little pricey but you get what you pay for I guess. At least you leave knowing it was done right. Lyft rides are included if you don’t want to wait and need a ride. Very friendly staff. Recommend you make an appointment.
7-30-24 - CBA Break Fluid Exchange
Dropped car off at 7 am, and it was ready by 4:30 pm same day. Could not pick up, so went next day. This time remembered to ask for Veteran's Discount (which they honored @ 10%). Got a complimentary Lyft ride to and from. Prices are slightly higher than other shops but knowing the job is done right, the complimentary ride to and from, the discount and the convenience of not having to leave The Woodlands makes up for the higher price. Overall satisfied, except that technician didn't notify me when the truck was pulled around, so I sat in the office for a little longer than expected drinking some good complimentary coffee. Again - don't forget your Veteran's discount and make an appointment.
08-27-24 - CBA Rear differential service
08-27-24 - Alternator replacement
08-27-24 - Advanced testing
Brought car in at 7 am to perform rear diff service. Explained battery light was coming on intermittently. Service advisor recommended advanced testing. Alternator needed replacement and rear diff service performed. Car was ready same day, but picked up on 8-28. Next service interval for rear diff is 30K miles.

These guys are always so good with our vehicles. We have used another shop for about 18 years but most of our vehicles are beyond their expertise now. Christian Brothers on 1488 have never let us down. Thanks everyone

I’ve been here several times and I’m always greeted with a welcome to Christian Brothers. Good car service and they take coupons.

Always on point. They are trustworthy and car repair is seamless. I bring my car in the morning and drop it off and they provide me a Lyft to work and then pick me up in the afternoon.

Good morning. First the GOOD stuff. Building was clean. Bathrooms passed my wife's test. Cookies were delicious. Everyone was very courteous. Lyft ride home was a nice touch. Now the BAD stuff. Brought my vehicle in for a power window that would not roll up. Not a complicated problem, but one I did not know how to fix. I am a 20 year veteran of the automotive industry and know my way around the service department.
Was told up front about the $200.00 diagnostic fee. We do the same at my previous dealership, but apply that to the repair. Only if you decline the repair is there a charge for the diagnosis. Not at CBA. They tried to add it to bill on top of the repair. When I vigorously protested, they agreed to negate the fee. They also charged me over a $100.00 for a part that I can buy online for less than half that amount. They also sent me a picture of the door panel still on the vehicle along with the estimate. I am not a technician, but how do you diagnose a problem if you can't see the problem. I guess the technicians at CBA have x-ray vision. We went from over $900.00 for the original estimate to just less then $600.00 after negotiating.
Once they finally decided to remove the door panel, they claim the motor was bad. They agreed to absorb the cost of the motor. Had they done a proper diagnosis, they would have known that upfront. They also ordered the wrong regulator. It took them three days to get the proper one from their warehouse. They claim they source parts from five different sources, but none of them had the part.
After having my truck for full week, they finally told me that it was ready to be picked up. They did offer to give me a 75.00 coupon for my trouble. What they failed to tell me was that they charged me an extra $50.00 for "miscellaneous shop supplies."
Sorry for the long review, but all I can say is get everything in writing up front and I would get a second opinion. By the way, they used the word "transparent" on more than one occasion. I understand the word, I would just like to see it put into practice at this location

$189 for electrical analysis. When already told you what issue was. Supplied new switch. Just a blown fuse. YET recommended an additional $443 if repair replacing fuel door actuator. When it was determined quickly it was a blown fuse. This type of advising is “criminal”. THOU SHALT NOT STEAL. It’s a shame Christian Brothers has forgotten that commandment.

This place is so wonderful. I will always stand by CBA they will never take advantage of you. They are so kind and generous that they have a program for helping single moms, and I got an oil change. I am forever grateful for this place! God bless all of you working here

Super nice & curtious. The young lady who checked me in was fabulous. Although it was not their fault, they were unable to assist me. I’m certain I’ll return.
