Must say that Megan, Cadence Bank representative, went beyond in assisting me with support when out of state and made sure to phone on the day that certain documents needed to be signed with the local Cadence Branch . She made it a seamless process so that everything was progressed quickly with the Herb S. , Cadence Bank representative. Megan is the reason I continue to be a Cadence Bank customer.

Everyone is really nice and sweet. However my issue was when it came down to actual paperwork and process they just made me waste my time. Submitted everything as requested only so they wouldnt do their part. I would call everyday for a update and never got a call back or response. Only gave me the run around. After 2 months of me calling and even showing up I finally was told they needed to run my credit for a second time because too much time had past. Started the process in May and it was the end of July. That was not my fault and I submitted everything they asked. It was such a waste of time. Never had such a bad experience like this before. I must had called 25 times and never even got a call back from the person processing my loan. Even took time off work for nothing. Not sure how they still in business.

I walked into the office to open a new business bank account as was told by the white lady in the glass front office that some one else would help me. There was one other guy that was assisting someone on the phone. I waited roughly 20-30 minutes and the guys was still assisting someone on the phone (not his fault). Another customer came in (white) and got assistance from the white lady immediately. I would never have my business be associated with this bank.

This branch of Cadence is the friendliest bank I have ever been to! JJ, Kanesha, and Sabrina are all very accommodating and care about each of their customer's lives and needs. They also have very favorable interest rates on CDs and Performance Checking Accounts.

Gayle is very rude, also has a very bad attitude and just overall a giant waste of time. Gayle in my experience was completely incompetent and disrespectful.

The whole team is there to help! We make manual deposits quite often and they’re friendly, competent, and given the ability to help. Jermaude has gone above and beyond to make sure banking with Cadence is easy and hassle-free and this is consistent with how we’ve always been treated by everyone at this branch.Keep up the great work!

I recently wanted to change my business banking relationship from Wells Fargo to a smaller bank. One of my clients told me about Cadence. I went in and tried to open an account and I’ve never had to jump through so many hoops to open a bank account! As I stated I’ve been with Wells for 3 years so when i was told that my Articles were insufficient & I also needed a DBA I was shocked because Wells didn’t require that. After running all over town to secure the DBA I returned some days later to find that all of a sudden my credit has a freeze on it! They couldn’t see my credit. I KNOW this to not be true cause I check my files regularly. I then started to research other small banks in the community, i went to another one whom I won’t name) and the banker was very candid with me and informed me of the profiling that is done out here with people of color. She directed me to another small bank in the area, and guess what?! My articles were sufficient and they could pull my credit with NO PROBLEM! My accounts are open and the 60k check i had for my deposit is in a safe place drawing interest! I can’t say that I’m shocked. But I’m certainly glad that my business wasn’t good enough in the beginning, instead of waiting until my money was involved!
