“Fantastic! First timer and impressively clean, courteous, and 3 different people I spoke to were extremely knowledgeable in issues with my car. And kindly had snacks and refreshments too. So thoughtful.

Brought my Audi A3 in (for sale) to get an inspection list of issues potential buyers might have upon purchase of the vehicle. Then sat down with me going over the list, patiently explaining what the report means, including a cost list for repairs as well. They emailed it to me, with pictures to prove each issue. I was more than impressed. They even pointed out the Audi dealership put my break pads on upsidedown, and used non-Audi parts! WOW!

Everything was warm and fuzzy, including their giant dog that could pass as a teddy bear. I was happy waiving and smiling when I left, only to find a cute stuffed animal on my dash. I can't wait to go over the results with my husband. A couple tweaks and she'll be one heck of a buy for someone else. I feel very blessed to have found this company.

Looking forward to seeing them all again, dog included . Top professionals should be recognized for their value. They wear it well, not being arrogant or short tempered with those of us not understanding all things car related. That is a gift to your customers. God bless you for your kindness.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Glen, a mechanic located in Houston, when I faced a major oil leak while out of town. Although he couldn’t help me immediately, he provided valuable advice and solutions, which was incredibly appreciated. After we decided to use Glens services, we had the car towed and dropped of for service to be completed a couple days out. When I returned to town to pick up the car our battery was dead. When I mentioned this to Glen and his mechanic they were quick to jump to action and completed the repair quickly and smoothly. They also replaced the dead battery at no charge. Glen advised us to drive the car for at least 100 miles to ensure no new codes appeared, and thankfully, everything has been running perfectly.

What stood out most was their exceptional customer service. They were kind, soft-sooken and genuinely caring, treating us like human beings rather than just a number. Their customer service was the best I’ve experienced in a long time and truly restored my faith in good service. It was also a cute surprise to meet their mascot dog, who is absolutely precious. I highly recommend Glen for his excellent service and genuine care. There are still good people out there!”

Good experience at CBs. Got an oil change. They’re a little pricey but you get what you pay for I guess. At least you leave knowing it was done right. Lyft rides are included if you don’t want to wait and need a ride. Very friendly staff. Recommend you make an appointment.

7-30-24 - CBA Break Fluid Exchange

Dropped car off at 7 am, and it was ready by 4:30 pm same day. Could not pick up, so went next day. This time remembered to ask for Veteran's Discount (which they honored @ 10%). Got a complimentary Lyft ride to and from. Prices are slightly higher than other shops but knowing the job is done right, the complimentary ride to and from, the discount and the convenience of not having to leave The Woodlands makes up for the higher price. Overall satisfied, except that technician didn't notify me when the truck was pulled around, so I sat in the office for a little longer than expected drinking some good complimentary coffee. Again - don't forget your Veteran's discount and make an appointment.

08-27-24 - CBA Rear differential service
08-27-24 - Alternator replacement
08-27-24 - Advanced testing

Brought car in at 7 am to perform rear diff service. Explained battery light was coming on intermittently. Service advisor recommended advanced testing. Alternator needed replacement and rear diff service performed. Car was ready same day, but picked up on 8-28. Next service interval for rear diff is 30K miles.”

“I recently took my 2017 Dodge truck in for service at Adams Automotive for a brake job, expecting a professional service based on their reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
First, the estimate I received from Adams Automotive was shockingly double if not triple the price what I was quoted by another reputable repair shop (Goodyear Auto Service located at 4550 Panther Creek Pines).
While I understand that prices may vary, the significant difference in cost raises concerns about pricing transparency and fairness. I asked for a detailed breakdown to understand the reason for such a high quote, but the explanation given was vague and unconvincing.
When I returned almost three hours later to pick up my truck (without any work being done) a manager (unknown name) approached me and did his best to convince me to allow them to do the work at their location. He even said, “just for training purposes please tell me why you won’t allow us to do the work” and then he told me that perhaps I didn’t understand that Adams Automotive actually had two different types of charges that could be applied to the repairs.
One was using premium factory parts which was much more expensive and the other was using cheaper brake parts that didn’t come with any type of factory warranty, but would lower the invoice price. He also said that if I was interested, they could work out a payment plan for me, after I told him repeatedly that I was retired senior citizen and on a fixed budget.
The manager was still very aggressive with me to make the repairs on my vehicle until I told him flat out that I could not afford their prices on the simple brake repair job and would take my business elsewhere.
I have lived in The Woodlands for over thirty years and do my best to support local businesses in our community, but I will not support a business that will attempt to over charge senior citizens that are on a fixed income and doing their best to make ends meet.
Overall, my experience at Adams Automotive was very disappointing. I would highly recommend anyone needing auto repairs to get multiple estimates and carefully compare what is included before committing to any service.
This was my first and last visit to Adams Automotive due to the way I was treated and their unsuccessful attempt to pull a panty hose over their head and gig me out of my senior citizen money. Based on my visit to Adams Automotive I cannot recommend anyone to them for any type of vehicle repairs.
I would like to recommend Goodyear Auto Service located at 4550 Panther Creek Pines who had very reasonable prices and professional service to get the job done right!!”

“I know how to work on cars. I did that when I was in college. Now I choose not to. Rusty's Garage will not B.S. you and they basically take ownership regarding the care of your car. What I mean is, they check everything and tell you what you need today and what can wait and they're honest. I know this because I usually know what's broken when I take my car in for service and in 4 decades, this is the first shop that has been spot on about everything and truthful. They don't make the job bigger than it actually is. The rest of the guys out there working on cars, want you to tell them what's wrong and they only fix that and then you have no idea on what else may be going on. And oh..by the way Rusty gives you a warranty on all their work even if you're out of town including reimbursement for a hotel stay if you're out of town and your car fails due to any work they've done. Plus a car wash..I have to stop now because it's almost too good to be true. But it is and I will not take our cars anywhere else.”

“I had never been to jiffy lube before, but went yesterday to get my serpentine belt replaced. The mechanics there are wonderful and helped me so much. I didn’t realize I’d gotten my belt & tensioner pulley replaced only last year, but they were able to show me they both had broken and the previous auto shop gave me bad parts. The guys at jiffy lube felt really bad for me haha, and were so sweet to work with me on pricing bc I was not prepared to have both replaced again. They were able to replace both & were super patient with me. They gave me the broken parts & told me to call the last shop who had given them to me. So I will be doing that! Didn’t make me feel dumb for asking questions & was super thankful they were honest with me. I definitely will be back.”

“I recently used Bayardo's Duct & Carpet Cleaning Service,Woodlands,TX for our air duct cleaning after finding them for the great reviews .I felt confident from the moment I called and spoke to the tech. , he was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything over the phone. He and his assistant arrived on time and proceeded to clean our air duct& dryer vent.They cleaned the dryer from the inside and outside of the unit. They were very thorough and efficient. Bayardo's Duct & Carpet Cleaning Service courteous, explained everything to us and did the job for a fair price. His services are certain to be utilized by us in the future, and I highly recommend him!”

“UPDATE. I received a response from management the day after I submitted my original rating. They were FAST to respond asking me for a chance to redo my car. Bobby, a manager, helped me and went above and beyond removing the tree sap from my windshield and car body. He first had me go through the carwash again, then spent 15-20 minutes working on my car removing all the tree sap. He was very personable. Definitely a 5-STAR experience on my followup visit. Yesterday I Went back for the first time in a while to Sparkling Image car wash. Basic car wash was $25.99. I know price of everything has gone up but was $19.99 last time I went. I don’t mind paying that kind of money if I know I’m gonna get a quality car wash. Unfortunately, on my way home I discovered several spots on the windshield that were sticky residue from bird poop that wasn't cleaned. They should’ve scraped it and got it off when they clean my windshield. Very disappointed in the quality of service for money paid. Not planning on going back.”
