I was in need of a push lawnmower and after seeing the downgrade of materials used by lawnmowers at a large store, I decided to go with a Toro, as the materials are much higher quality, including the cutting blade.The blade is even replaceable and able to be sharpened by Outdoor Equipment Outlet on W. Davis St. in Conroe, which is not the case with other brands these days. And I saw some lawnmower replacement wheels at Tractor Supply on 242…You do have to order online because they do not stock them in store. If you ask, ACE will deliver the lawnmower free of charge within 5 miles or further for a nominal mileage fee.Upon request, they will unbox it and attach the handle.They do not start it for you, or handle the gasoline for liability reasons, but if you have your own gasoline ready and add it yourself, they will wait and make sure it starts.The delivery person determined it was best to use the full container of provided oil, which was less than a quart.I do highly recommend using ACE Hardware, having to pick it up would have been a real pain.Delivery people were nice and helpful.If you use ethanol free, aka tortilla free ?, gasoline, which you can get one block north of W. Davis St., at Quik Trip gas station, the engine will not gunk up, even in long time periods without cranking the engine.Use ethanol free gasoline on all lawn equipment, even your Stihl pressure washer, so you don’t damage the carburetor. Customer service is dead at this ACE!No genuine greeting. Lady at the counter gave me a fake smile, The smile was so quick I almost missed it. Imagine driving out of your way to go to ace hardware store that you haven’t visited because You love the options that Ace Hardware usually provides to their customers only for you to be told that they don’t Carried those brands (STIHL,) Or tools (razorback edger) I had other things on my list to buy but forgo buying anything because of the staff attitude. Instead, I’ll have to go to Home Depot. Perhaps there they want my business as opposed to this store that doesn’t.

They are the most helpful store I have experienced. Night and day difference between Ace and Home Depot or Lowe's. I make Ace my first stop...they have 95% of what I need, even the obscure items that typically need to be ordered online! No waiting for help or looking around for help, their staff is available and actually eager as well as able to help.

Generally like shopping at Ace. They have great customer service. I visited this location to purchase fungicide. This location became super annoying. I was approached by 7 different employees asking if I needed help. Super annoying! This made it difficult to shop and think about what I needed because I was constantly having to tell the employees that I was fine. I think I will find another store to make my purchases in the future.

The customer service here is amazing. Everyone is very knowledgeable and willing to help sort you out. Whether it's a product or a problem this is the place for great advice and those hard to find / need it right now items. Highly recommended ??

The best customer service! Extremely friendly. One item that I ordered did not make the delivery, an honest mistake.When I notified the store, the issue was resolved very apologetically and promptly. I will do all my "home need" shopping at ACE! Thank you!

Excellent service. Came in needing a quick fix for plugging the hole we accidentally punched out on a garbage disposal. The guy that helped was was really educated and really friendly. He even took us to see if the plug fit in one of the garage disposals in the store.

They used to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable before the move. The staff seemed completely disinterested in helping me find what I was looking for, and when I asked for assistance, they were unable to provide any useful information.the staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. They seemed annoyed when I asked for assistance and were not willing to go above and beyond to help me find what I needed. I felt like I was bothering them by being in their store, which is not the kind of experience I expect when shopping at a retail location.I used to shop here regularly. Never again!
