Nice for sports, but not well thought out. No chairs or seating for parents or players at the soccer fields. They at least have a map designating the fields which is a huge help on game day. Typical small concessions and restrooms are available. Parking can be quite a ways away depending on which field where your game is, so be prepared to walk. No shade or trees so bring umbrellas or shade structures and plenty of sunscreen.

So my husband and I came down to watch a couple of our grandsons play all weekend in flag football, and this one plays baseball and basketball ? They had a championship game this weekend. All the games were nail biting all the kids had a blast, and played their hearts out it was a close fight for the win, my grandson's team lost by 1. ? Both team got rings so proud of him, and all the other teams. His team was a little discouraged at the beginning of the game, but they came back so hard. So thanks to all the parents, family and friends that came out to watch their children. It was a great weekend.❤️⚾️?

Great area for the family. Their fields are in very good shape. There are nice new playgrounds. There is a great central area with shade and a snack bar area. They have decent bathrooms as well. There is plenty of handicapped parking

It's just okay. The playground is somewhat maintained. The fields look nice enough. Too bad it's not serviced fully as intended when built.

We were there for the Everybody's favorite BBQ & Hot sauce festival but the park overall is real nice.The festival turned out to be good and it was very,very HOT!!! It was a little disorganized but we enjoyed ourselves and met some good ppl while there and we really enjoyed the music...Loose Ends,Kjon he was alright,Chante Moore and my girl Leela James!!! I've lived in The Colony for at least 8yrs and there was never nothing like that so Thanks to the organizers and the city!!!

First time our JYSA softball team played in this park. Not too shabby!!You can tell it was built awhile ago, the softball fields themselves are pretty tiny, but the complex was built to last. Great shading for the stadium seating and plenty of room. Concessions are def better than most with a ton of hot food options, you don't see that anywhere.Also a fun little playground for the littles, wish that area was shaded as well.Great park!! Hope we get to visit it often.

We've been here for several baseball tournaments. The fields of course and general ambiance is what I'm able to review. I like the military memorial, located in the center area, the statues throughout other specific areas, covered bleachers to keep fans out of the sun for the most part and the weather alert sirens that go off for safety. The fields are also easy to locate. They do also have a park map. Park bathrooms and concession stand with specific vendors during baseball games. Parking can get pretty packed but we've always found a spot. I like the restaurants, food chains and stores nearby as well.

Regular folks can't just stroll up and use the fields. During school one of the parking lots is completely closed off. During softball games the concession stand is closed unless baseball is being played at the same time.

I went there recently on a windy and cold day to throw flying discs (disc golf drivers). There was no one there and the soccer fields were my own private driving range! Loved the place when our kids played soccer, football, and baseball. The playgrounds were fantastic for toddlers and elementary school kids.

This is a great open outdoor space to go walk/hike/run/work out in the evenings. Plenty of sidewalks and grass to walk on. Whenever I'm in the colony and need to get some outdoor time in while staying in the city, this is my go to.
