I can only speak for the infant room… My baby has attended La Petite for about 3 months now. I love how communicative Michelle is and how much effort I see her put in to that room. I can tell the teachers really care for my baby, all the babies. I do wish they received a bit more infant-specific training prior to filling-in for that classroom, but it seems the staff are good at communicating amongst themselves. Also, the app is super user-friendly and I love being able to see my baby throughout the day. The prices are very reasonable for this area. They do seem a bit understaffed at times, maybe they should beef-up their PRN staff list. I’m sure that’s anywhere though. Overall, I’m glad I found them, it gives me such peace of mind.

I currently work here I’m the lead infant teacher I’ve been here for a year and a half and I love every moment of it! Before I started working here my children were attending for a year and they loved it. They love their teachers and the fun activities they get to do. My oldest is now in school and tells me everyday he miss his teachers and coming to la petite. One of the major plus for me as a mom is that they have live cameras so before I worked here I was able to keep the cameras on to see how my kids were doing it relieved a lot of anxiety I had wonder how much kids were doing especially my youngest that was 8 weeks at the time I was a nervous wreck leaving him so watching the cameras made happy and calm! They also except ccs (child care services) which is a government assistance program that helps give you a low rate for child care going off your income and most daycares don’t except them so that was a plus for me! Overall had a great experience working and before I working here! I hope to see your babies/ children ?

Lapetite academy is a wonderful daycare. My child has been attending this center since February 2016 and she loves it. The teachers in the schoolers room keeps the kids busy amd doing different activities and they are reasonable compared to other daycares I had looked at before enrolling my child there. The center is always clean and the kids are well taken care of there.Updating my review September 2023. My daughter ended up getting “kicked out” of this daycare because I cussed out the director Amy because there was an incident one day when my sister picked my daughter up she came out with an ice pack on her head because there was a situation and one of the other kids kicked my daughter in the head and her response to me asking why did it go that far was “he has anger issues “ and so do I so after 5 or 6 years of my daughter attending this daycare she was kicked out. The other kid was too m. There was also a time I pulled up to pick up my daughter and it was a toddler standing in the parking lot crying. He had got outside of the gate somehow so I picked him up and took him back inside.

I dropped my daughter off for the first time at this center at 8am on a Monday morning for back up daycare. The center was VERY dirty. Looked like it had not been cleaned in several weeks. Trash, paper, open safety pins in the common area. It was also very warm inside. I left her there for two hours in order to move my work schedule around to be able to take her home. When I got there to pick up she was warm, sweaty and curled up in a ball crying in the toddler/infant room. When I dropped off and picked up my ID was not checked nor did anyone go over the paperwork with me to make sure they had everything they needed. Just a note both times I was the only parent dropping off and picking up. I would NOT take my child here.

My son had been at La Petite for 3 years. There has been a management change now he hates it. We have found somewhere new. I hope they can get it together because it used to be a great daycare. I think they have too many kids and the new teachers are overwhelmed and yelling at them.

LOVE THE NEW STAFF AND MANGEMENT! I have been established at this daycare since my daughter was 6 months old she is now 4yrs old. I have been so pleased with the new crew! My daughter loves going everyday so that is so comforting as a working mother to know she is taken care of during the day.

So far our experience has been really great- we've been there almost a year and are enjoying our experience Covid has made things challenging for everyone and day care centers are no exception but despite all the work arounds we feel confident in our choice We have a breast feed baby with dietary restrictions and the staff have been most excellent in assisting with our meal time deviations and menus adaptations but honestly the food provided there is fresh and well balanced so now that he is in the toddler room there is little if any need for it The camera option is an emotional life saver ... to be able and pop in on line anytime is a great optionThe emails and photo updates are good too and always provided in a timely manner throughout the day If you're looking for daycare this is definitely one to check out

This daycare is very old. It has insects inside the building. It is very dirty. Rude and unprofessional management. Do not leave your child at this location because they do not care about children's safety and health.

My child was not given food after he politely declined ONE of their options (I saw it) because the staff grew irritated. I wish these ladies were given more training, and that they didn't let people in to work just because they signed up. Not everyone needs reconsideration, but many do.

I know it is a difficult situation to deal with a child who is 3 ans been at home the whole time. However, there should be some patience on their part. Instead, my daughter went 3 days out of 5 due to a head cold and we were told she is "too smart" but also "too difficult" she needs individual care. I mean you supposedly have degrees in child care and should understand after many times of being told this is a complete polar opposite of what she is used to. Instead it is she is more advanced (although true from home learning) but diffuclt so she needs individual care. AKA we are kicking your kid out. This seems more of a fly by night easy street operation. She went to Plano her very first week ( The Colony her second due to convince) and somehow got better care and understanding at the location than this one. Yet this one costs more?!!!! That makes no sense. I have a friend who had issues as well. This is uncalled for but somehow continues to happen.

We absolutely love this school and all of the Teachers and Staff! Our daughter started around her First Birthday, after being home while I was on Maternity Leave. She is now Two and a half, and has made so much progress. She loves all of her Teachers and Friends, and is so excited when we drop her off in the morning. The amount of care, love, and commitment on the entire Staff's part is evident. It feels like a Family the moment you walk in the door, and I'm immediately comforted knowing she is safe and loved while we're at work. We are truly blessed to have found La Petite in The Colony, and Everyone there!

I will share my story with all of you so you can see how much La Petite has changed since I worked there in 2015 as well as had my son there. I worked for La Petite in 2015 to 2016 in that time it was my worst experience ever and literally I never wanted to work in childcare again!!! It doesn't matter who worked there then because they aren't there anymore. My son also suffered from some experiences that happened while in care of previous teacher that worked there.Fast forward to the beginning of Oct. and there is no other option and I was terrified to bring him back. However to my relief none of the teachers that worked there before or the director is there. Let me be clear there were good teachers there and the Director was good to us and the Assistant just certain teachers at that time. It's all new staff and Director. They are Amazing ? My son loves Mr. Cody who is his Teacher and the bus driver who takes him in the morning. Because he only goes in the mornings to be dropped off at school as well as when school is out. My son loves going there and even has friends. They know how to handle him and his disabilities. There is structure in the class which there was not before. The teachers actually care as well as the Director and Mrs. Amy they are God sends. And it takes alot for me to trust after all the things we experienced in the past. But they are truly amazing and I am so glad I gave them a second chance. And it always smells so clean and looks neat. Children aren't screaming and crying like they used to they are actually doing activities and not roaming around the class. Teachers do not look frustrated or over worked. It's a complete wonderful change. I'm so glad to have brought him back.

This place is okay, the teachers are amazing but that director is money hungry. They stopped doing Spanish class and we weren’t notified by the director. I was notified my a teacher only because i asked. So for months we were getting charged and was not given our money back.

My daughter’s attended LP since she was 2yrs. My daughter loves her teachers as do I. It’s like a little family there. This is her last year there and I’m sure it’ll be a great one!
