I would like to give no stars. My daughter had a hotel booked here for a guesting that she was doing. She checked in on Friday night. Had to make a day trip out of town Saturday so took her stuff with her. She came back Saturday night to spend the night and they had given her hotel room away and wanted to charge her double for a room. Curran was Incompetent and rude in the way he behaved and treated her. She had a long drive and was exhausted and tried to scam her into spending twice what the hotel room was listed as online. Do not stay here! I will be contacting the main company tomorrow with a formal complaint. I expect more from Hilton Brand.

We have stayed at Homewood Suites at The Colony multiple times, and now when travelling to Dallas, it is our go-to hotel of choice. The property is in a great location and is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.Rooms: Rooms are very clean.Nearby activities: Next door to Nebraska Furniture Mart. Near Scheel's Sporting Good, Grandscape and TopGolf. Many restaurants nearby.Safety: Very safe location.

Loved my stay at this hotel! It was very clean and welcoming and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a corner room so it was already bigger than the average room here but it was also an ADA room. Lots of space! The bed was comfy, the room stayed cold, and the shower had great pressure. My two issues were that the walls/ceilings/floors were very thin and you could hear everything. Thankfully I wear earplugs, which helped. Also, the connecting door had a big gap under it so the sound was even louder. Second, the bench in the shower didn’t stay up, thereby cutting the shower space in half. I suggest adding in some kind of snap or magnet for it to keep it up against the wall when not in use. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay here again!

This is a brand new hotel in a great area. Gorgeous. However, they raised my room rate from $240 to $343 without authorization or a signature. They asked if I'd like to be on the same floor as my colleagues. I said yes because we share a rental car and being on the same floor makes it easy to get the keys from one another.When I discovered this billing error, they sent me to their HQ. HQ sent me back to the hotel and so on. I never got any help after serveral calls, emails and messages. Now I'm out of compliance at work and will have to pay the difference out of my own pocket.The facility is great but this means of raising rates is underhanded and unethical. I can't recommend them or any Homewood Suites as a result. There's a brand new Hampton Inn right next to this property that's equally as nice, new, and convenient. I suggest you stay there so you can avoid the situation I experienced. Good luck.Noteworthy details: Check your bill very carefully before you leave. Also ask for a printed copy of your reservation upon arrival. They changed mine without authorization.

The place was very nice and clean the new look was very nice the only thing is y'all need to have turkey sausage or bacon because everyone don't eat pork..for heath reasons..

Had a great stay at this property. Rooms were super modern and spacious, staff was kind and very hospital, and breakfast spread was excellent as well.I thought this was a great value stay!

I haven’t even stayed there yet and I am already unhappy. I made a reservation through the hotels website only to find out that it is a third party company taking the reservation. That’s my fault. I need to add a day at the end of my stay so I called the number on the hotels website and got their third party. I was told that they can’t add a day and I would have to get a refund and make a new reservation. I said ”ok, let’s do that”, and then the same person told me that the reservation is non refundable. She suggested I make a reservation for the extra day but reminded me that I would have to check out of my room at 11 and couldn’t get into my room again until 3! Really? I finally got a number to the hotel but after the third time of hearing “no one is available to talk to me at that time”, I hung up. I’m hoping my stay is better than my experience so far and I will find another place to stay for my last day

Hidden gem in The Colony!Homewood Suites in The Colony comes with a full kitchen, dining area, sofa seating area, and for me a king sized bed. The hotel room was spacious, modern, and super clean. I picked a room towards the end of the hall and surprisingly I did not hear any hallway noise at all, no slamming doors or voices of people walking by. The hotel also offers a complimentary hot breakfast. The location is also nearby several restaurants and also very close to the freeway.

I stayed here on a recommendation from a colleague. This hotel did not disappoint. I've stayed in plenty of Homewood's over the years but this was by far my favorite. This property is fairly new and has a ton of modern vibes. The breakfast is surprisingly decent with many options from cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, toast, waffles, and an assortment of hot options. The fitness room has free weight, kettlebells, treadmills, cable machine, slam balls, and a ply box. The pool is also pretty nice. The staff is helpful and kind and the rooms were very comfortable for a longer term stay. I love seeing these new Hilton properties step up their game and leave the tired 90's and early 2000's vibes in the past where they belong. This is my new go to hotel for this area.

I enjoyed the amenities and staff the most. The complimentary breakfast was amazing every morning. Yanet and Ortensia were always restocking coffee and keeping the common areas clean. Deborah at the front desk answered all of our questions and assisted with the bbq grill kit so our team could enjoy an evening in, swimming and grilling. I loved the filtered water station and laundry facilities as well. Thank you for making my home for two weeks so enjoyable!

I have been staying at this location for almost two months and the staff here is super kind.The front office staff is very cordial and helpful.I would like to provide a special acknowledgment and my appreciation for Hortencia. She is an extremely hard worker. During my stay she constantly greets me with a smile in the morning, she always ask how my day is going, and she has a very pleasant personality. I have seen her on her hands and knees ensuring the place is spotless and clean. She ensures the front area, inside and outside, stainless steel elevators and lobby area are clean, shiny, and that the floors are spotless and up to standards. I have stayed at a lot of hotels during my travels while traveling for business, but she is a very meticulous, energetic and professional employee. You are very lucky to have her as a team member.There are a lot of demands from guests in the morning hours but Hortencia goes over and above to ensure their needs are met. Often you get cranky-a-holes in the morning that no matter what you do they will not be happy, but from what I observed, Hortencia still services them with a smile.You are very fortunate and lucky to have her on your team.Tina JacksonRooms: Room was clean and the maid service was very good as well.Nearby activities: Very close to restaurants and entertainment.

For my experience, I could give no stars, if reviews allow that.I had booked a rather expensive 2 queen room suite for 2 night stay through priceline and fully prepaid several days before my stay dates for a weekend trip. I drove from my hometown to Dallas, reached there by 10pm at Homewood Suites, and the plan was to spend the weekend with family. Hotel frontdesk said they overbooked and oversold to other customers, instead can give separate rooms, and since I did not pay them directly and instead paid through priceline, they are not responsible. There was some event and loud partying with college or high-school kids, that at the lobby we can not hear each other that well, if we had stayed there, the loud partying may be have been a concern as well. I imagine they sold out to that event, and that may have overridden my priceline reservation. Alexis at frontdesk, did not understand customer care, was indifferent in saying that it is not our problem, but customer can contact priceline and find other accommodation options. Alexis at Frontdesk was too eager to cancel my reservation with out first consulting with me or finding a way to take care of my stay. They had me calling priceline from front lobby through 1030pm. I ended up skipping this hotel, and priceline alternatives and settling with some alternate stay with my family. It was terrible customer service and experience. It spoiled much of the plan we had for the weekend. My advice, do not get tricked by the newness or pictures of this hotel, if you are flying in or driving from far, based on my experience if you are not lucky, this hotel staff will leave you stranded, they will not be apologetic and will be inconsiderate. I also advice that even it few more bucks, it may be better to book through expedia, priceline's reliability with their hotel or airline reservations are not what it used to be. It is on a downwards spiral with priceline too
