Very shady way of conducting business here. After I booked here online, they never sent me a confirmation email, and I missed my reservation as a result. They did not fail to charge my card, but they also never sent me an invoice or receipt until I reached out to the national Marriott line a week later. The email I provided was right, but the front desk here implied that I was lying about the fact that I never received a confirmation, or even an invoice the day after, even though I checked my spam, junk, and inbox folders. As a Marriott member, this is super shady activity that I've never faced before.When I asked if I could rebook, the front desk also lied to me on the phone saying they were fully sold-out this weekend when I saw on their website that they had availability.There seems to be a problem with their system, and their poor customer service and dishonesty prevents them from being aware of their mistakes. I wouldn't recommend this spot!

Im the mail carrier. I've never stayed there, but the people at the front desk are wonderful and very friendly. Beautiful curb appeal and I especially ❤ love the monument of The Ten Commandments.And it's directly across the street from Tanger Outlet. ?

The hotel is in great condition, and is very clean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast with the usual selections. It is a relatively short drive to the cruise ports from this hotel.

A bit in the middle of nowhere but cheap because of location. Didn't have wifi for 2 days.. was given bonus points after I asked. Not sure if that would have happened if I didn't ask. Breakfast was pulled early in first day before 930. The bathroom. Is oddly laid out so nothing is super convenient.. towel on opposite side of vanity not near the shower etc.

Unfortunately the hotel cleaning staff when they came into our room damaged my CPAP machine and managed to somehow unplug my tablet and leave its screen on. I also found my headphones on top of my pillow when I left my hotel room now on the floor underneath the nightstand. When I talked to the manager of the hotel about this issue they took care of the problem and covered the price of a replacement heated hose for my CPAP machine. Hotel management was great at taking care of the issues that the housekeeping staff had caused. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Been here twice while working in Texas City. Will be here again should I ever be back in the area. Great location with Buc-ee's being right next door.The room are nice and very standard for SpringHill Suites. Service members are very nice and friendly especially for extended stays.Only thing would be that breakfast doesn't have the best selection and can get a little bit cramped if the hotel is busy.
