Brought in a couple AR Uppers for them to put brakes on because I did not have a vice at the time. My mistake was not asking how much they would charge, assuming it would be $10 or so. They charged me $80 to torque two brakes on two barrels... not even ten minutes of “work” I will never go back.
Poor selection of firearms and not terribly outgoing.
Make the drive north.

Wanted to get some bulk ammo 9 mm. Lately it's been going for 260 to 320 everywhere for a 1000 rounds. I can get brand new fiocchi 1000 round Box for 305 shipped. I called up to shooter's corner and they told me its $450. He said that's what hes getting it for. I either think he was messing with me or just completely full of himself. Last place I wanna go is somewhere that rips the public off Like a gas station jumping a quarter....

My son turn me on to Shooters Corner and although I live in Santa Fe I will travel to Texas City to do all my purchases with them at Shooters Corner because they have great deals prices are never over priced and I recommend them for any and all rifle or hand gun purchases. And they have professionals at work there!!

I am really disappointed in these Texas gun stores. You guys allow 18 year olds to purchase guns and without a license and a permit. You guys need to make the age limit higher, run a mental evaluation on all customers and require permits and licenses. Shame on you for selling guns to irresponsible people.

Small, family owned & run, gun shop - prices may be a little higher because of that. They might not have what you need on-hand, but I'd bet they can get it. I bought an AR-10, 150 miles South of here, but have had everything I needed, done, by these guys and they've discussed it all with me. Need 2A goodies - ANYTHING - Call Shooter's Corner

I brought ammo here about a couple of months ago, they was pretty informational and had 7.62*25 ammo which is hard to find.
