That Employee went above and beyond for me as a Family Dollar customer and I was so grateful that Dai Dai helped me load my cash app for my 14 year old son would be able to buy a game pass for Rainbow 6 siege at midnight with the new season. I pulled up at 959 and he didn't shut the door on me , that Wonderful Young man was very kind and patient with a last minute customer. Here in Texas City you really don't find employees that are so much about the customer but at That family dollar they know who to hire because I have never been so impressed with the Mannerisms of Dai Dai and the other young man that was closes the store on Monday 6/9/2025. “Good prices, cheaper on some cigarette brands $1. Items and good deals . Cheaper the other dollar stores except dollar tree. Pretty clean there with nice clerks. A lot of one dollar items. It's a pleasure doing business with them. Wear your mask or you will not be able to shop there.”

“The next best thing to a large grocery store, only it's in your neighborhood. Dollar General has almost everything a grocery store has except for fresh meat & seafood. They have plenty of frozen items & fresh vegetables. It beats going all the way to a larger store.”

“The staff here gets 5 stars but the storefront needs a good deep clean. The windows are full of stuff that has fallen behind the shelves and the concrete/sidewalk outside the doors has lots of trash and cigarette butts. It would definitely benefit from a power wash to remove all the gum and grime.”

“I like the store and the new look but trying to call is always a hassle. I tried to call them 3x today. I went yesterday and found out this morning they sold me expired creamer, yea I should have checked but why do they have 2week expired items on the shelf ?”
