We had an issue with the apartment that I feel like was never addressed and was sort of blew off after we inquired about it a few times. The apartment had a bad odor and we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from, one or two attempts were made at finding the source by maintenance but after that, they made suggestions on what I should do to remedy it my self. (After I had already tried everything in the book) The apartments aren’t bad and they do try to keep them up well, but they didn’t work for my family and the smell issues with our unit played into our decision to break our lease early and start looking early for somewhere else to stay or buy, especially since I did not feel like the apartment was interested in resolving our issue.Another reason for this review was the fact that I gave the complex a full 30 days notice that I planned to move out AND paid my early lease termination fee (which was 2,340$) understanding of the fact that I was breaking the lease and that’s a consequence of doing so. However, when it came to my last statement they charged me ANOTHER (1200$) claiming I gave insufficient notice to move out because I gave 30 days notice and not 60 days notice. (Even though they had another tenant in place to move in after me) One thing I also noticed during my time here was that they will threaten to fine you for many small things. For instance, I received apartment mass communication text like “If residents do not do so and so they will be fined 100$.” I do not recommend Waggoner Creek apartments and I would never stay here again.

Management is terrible at this apartment. The apartment leasing community in TXK is just pathetic. Just because it looks decent, don’t trust it. Fast talking rude agents never inform residents of proper check out procedure. It’s almost like they think you should stay there for years suffering through broken amenities, faulty meters, asinine agents. Them when you do want to leave, they will through roadblocks. Legacy at Pleasant Grove has better management and facilities.

Overall it’s a nice and quite community. But the leasing office and management don’t do a good job of communicating. Also beware of over charges when you move out. They will never contact you that you owe anything when you move out and then months later you will get a phone call from a debt collector saying you owe all this money. Even though when you talked to them a month after moving out they said nothing nothing about it. Other than poor management some of the other cons include: you will not receive packages and you will have to go to the usps location in town to retrieve it, gates never work, way to expensive. I did like the community it’s self and the maintenance team is great.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I never leave reviews, but this place is awful. This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. They are such a rip off. My A/C went out for about 2-3 months. They called themselves fixing it but then it “broke” again. I swear I can not say this enough. Do not move here, whatever you do. Christen or Kristen I’m not sure how to spell her name but she is the worst. Her attitude is very bad and she was always so rude to me. Management is horrible!!!! They will try their best to get as much money out of you as they can when moving out. I am so thankful that I got out of this place!!!! Go to Arista! They are SO much better in my opinion.

We would like to give a shout out Thank You for Deon in maintenance at Apts on Gibson Lane - because of him we won’t move! He goes above and beyond his duties to help in any need that comes. Love the Staff, gated community and most of all location. We have that country feel, but convenience of being close to freeways and town. We have it all. We’re retired and loving it. Only complaint “no rowing machine in gym!Thank you Waggoner CreekThe Mallards ????

This apartment complex isn’t even worth one star. From the time we moved in a year ago to the time we moved out we had an AWFUL experience. Everything is cheap inside the apartment. It was completely different than what we were showed. They charged us for things we didn’t even break that were broken when we moved in. Carpet was torn in places with stains that were blamed on us when we moved out even though we put them on our move in sheet of problems in the apartment at move in. Management is a joke. Needless to say go find a more affordable apartment that isn’t as expensive and won’t RIP YOU OFF.
