I was just looking around on RRCU site and came across 2 less than glowing reviews. It surprised me because we've never had a problem. We're getting a little older now and have trouble remembering everything we should know about our banking. Every time I lock myself out of our account on the computer and have to call someone to help me get back on, I couldn't ask for people to be any more helpful and pleasant than these employees. When we go into one of the locations, again the people are so nice and very helpful. I grew up in the area then moved back after 30 years. We've banked with RRCU since we've been back in the here. We trust them completely. Several years ago, we were heavily involved with a local charity. I called the bank manager to ask if they would be willing to help us provide the items for a holiday meal by paying for a turkey for each family. They did at Thanksgiving and then again at Christmas with a ham. They went far and above what I thought they would be willing to do. They blew us away by their generous spirit. We're proud to say that RRCU is where we bank and wouldn't consider changing.Jean Heilman

I have been a member for over 35 years and use multiple locations, mainly Texas Blvd and Trinity, and have always been pleased with the kind, friendly and hospitable service I`ve received from everyone there!

If I could give this bank .05 star rating, I would. For the love of god do NOT bank with these people. I was victim of fraud from a Taco Bell app on my phone. I live it of state. When I called to have my card cancelled and reissued I was made aware that it takes 7 days to send out a new card and to overnight one, they charge you $20. So I agreed to be charged the fee to overnight a card. She literally never did the transaction. She didn't turn off the card, she didn't order a new card. So here I am needing to pay bills, only I can't. I called them back today 2 days later and was told she didn't do this and they it was my fault that I didn't call me never services. I called the number provided online ending in 3000. When I was finally transferred to member services, the lady hung up on me. I had to call back. I asked for a bank manager, who are never available. So I told the woman on the phone what was going on. So she's going to western union my own money to me but it takes 2 hours and it costs me $20. So now I'll be late to work and I had to pay $20 for my own money. Had the card reissued. She claimed she ordered it, we shall see in 7 days. I hate this bank. I hate hate hate this bank. This is not the first time I've had problems out of them.

Actually, one star is quite generous. Absolutely, the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE and predatory lending in the United States. Nonetheless, customer service calls you and have the audacity to speak to you as if you are their child. BEWARE OF BUSINESS AND LENDING PRACTICES - THEY ARE NOT LIKE YOUR AVERAGE CREDIT UNION! Not sure, why this company added the escrow to the mortgage and act as if you are not aware of how to read the closing document. Please check you loan and if they did the same thing to you, file a complaint with the Department of Housing and BBB.

There is not enough help support for the online and mobile banking. The 1(800) number provided on the website denies access to my location apparently and hangs up on me. I’m not even a mile from a branch location. Overall very disappointed in the automated features provided I understand humans need time away for family and life in general, but if automation is available it needs to be proper

I have been a member of Red River for several years now. For the most part everything has been great. My only complaint is that a few times they put my money in my mothers account that I am listed on because they looked up my name instead using my member number and just chose the first account that popped up instead of asking me which account I would like the money to go into. They have always been there for me when I needed a loan and the customer service has always been on point.

The wait time is long and most of the tellers are rude and this location is last on my list to visit. I hate going to this location always 10/15 minute wait. It's called and express and nothing is fast. Tellers don't even greet you sometimes the only thing you hear is the receipt is on the way. No hi, no how are you or nothing.

They continuously put a hold on my debit card even though I walked there and got a new debit card in the last month. They want us to have and show respect for them but don't return the favor cause they could at least call and verify with you first cause I walked there from College Drive the day before and got told by Member Service Representative that things were fine so the next day I went to pay my half my rent and it got declined. That afternoon I was going to be gone for a month so I was trying to get stuff done so I would be on the safe side. I'm considering of changing banks cause I'm seeing how little of courteous they have for us, but want us to be courteous of them!!
